No singer wants another singer to mimic their sound word for word, medley for medley. That's just copying. They want another singer to produce a different version of their song but just sound hood doing it. When Aretha was asked months later what she remembered most about that night, she said Natalie Cole singing " Call Me" because it reminded her of her deceased sister Carole who passed away and also wrote the song. Also, Natalie's version was totally different from the original. She didn't care how Fanastia or Jennifer Hudson tried to sound like her!! There is only one Queen! The comparisons between Aretha and Chaka are just plain ridiculous! Stop causing unnecessary rivalries and comparisons. This behavior is what caused that aweful division between Aretha and Natalie for awhile!!! So glad they fixed this rift before Natalie passed away.....

@OklaHomaDummy Yes, there is autotune int he mic...But that was ALL of Chaka's doing...Her vocal abilities allows her to do that nice jerking method with notes. The autotune in the mic was just to enhance the vocals...There was not vocal correction autotune in the mics...She doesn't sound like T-Pain throughout the whole song...That's pitch correction autotune...They used vocal enhancer auto-tune...BIG DIFFERENCE! Chaka just has HIGHS like NO OTHER!!!!!!
