I gotta say. When I saw you posted a new video, it was a insta click. Didn’t read the title or anything. You have this cozy vibe that every video you make is like a warm hug. I love your journey and I’m so proud of your work and you for your drive, hard work and determination and dedication. I’m happy you are feeling better and please take care of yourself. ❤

Hello Christy, Your content is amazing! You are the reason why I started picking up books again. I have to admit, I took a break from reading due to painting sessions. But overall, books are a powerful tool. An increase with vocabulary makes you sound smarter and sharper. Don’t stop reading! Do what you love!

Hello Christy Anne! I love these "how you plan your story" videos! I've been writing short stories since I was a kid and just recently started planning a novel. It is actually really nice to see how you do some of your planning as writing a novel (as you know) can be hard to keep all my subplots and plots in order. Thanks again and a very delightful video!

I completely agree with you in regards to having to sometimes force yourself to go and work somewhere else than your home. It is so easy and comfortable just working from home, that when I do leave the house I sometimes feel very nervous and anxious. I tend to go and work in our city library :) Glad to hear you are making more time for yourself this year Christy!

Hi Christie Anne, rest and relaxation and socializing so important. Also never underestimate the power of a good night's sleep. Sure you are aware of these writing necessities but they are worth repeating!! Take care of yourself!! Thank you for an informative video. Never seen Millinote before. Thank you so much for sharing it.❤

I’ve been loving your videos! I’m an aspiring (closeted?) picture book author/illustrator, but your content has inspired me to revisit a middle grade novel I started a few years ago. So, thank you!! 🤓 It is nice to have a couple different genres going at the same time. All the writing/work day tips are so helpful. And Milanote looks fantastic!!

Endwalker absolutely destroyed me emotionally - i've listened to some of the livestreamed panels for the writing in that game and it is so well crafted and every detail is super well thought! i've never been able to find a story that moved me and had such a huge range of world builsing like that in any other type of media. i hope you enjoy the end of that story arc!!

Your reaction to Word changing its default layout was the same as mine haha. I'm doing my thesis right now, so most of my documents have the old Calibri layout. I really don't want to deal with the new one, so for now I'm just copy-pasting the files that I already have and then change everything to keep the layout instead of starting a brand new one.
@e4mi10 ай бұрын
Word tip! you can change the theme in word settings (options) and font default under the pop out. Under the font section there is a little arrow, click that and it will allow you to mess with all the defaults for this doc or all docs!!

Ideas for trying some writer's routines-I have 3 suggestions: Ray Bradbury, Kate Forsyth (and a fellow fantasy novelist & Aussie), and the late great Tanith Lee , if there was one. She was a fav of mine, her fantasy and scifi so imaginative. She died in 2015 and her death was a great loss, as was Ray Bradbury's.

MS Word is classic . . . in much of the western and western-allied world. In China, they have their own stuff. Though, MS Word only allows syncing on all devices if you pay for the subscription plan. That sucks. I just use the regular stand-alone version. This girl seems to have made some kind of stir-fry, and eats the meal with chopsticks 🥢. Must be something she got from her Japanese travel days. She also wrote a memoir about her life in Japan 🇯🇵. If you look carefully, then you can see she’s in Australia 🇦🇺. That explains her accent 😉. She is or wants to be traditionally published, so that’s why she has that literary agent mentioned in one scene. Good job in securing one. I have heard it is very difficult these days.
