Friends have one in their cabin and it seems to work well but it's also bigger in size if I recall.

Think these are meant to help circulate air similar to a ceiling fan on low. Not to blow heat to heat up room

Yeah I was probably hoping for a bit more than it could do and I think your right. Buddy has one at a hunting cabin that is larger than my shop and it moves a decent amount of air but his wood stove also puts off more heat than my wood boiler which may be part of the issue. It's still out there and still neat how it works but for my purposes of heat I still use a fan on low behind the chimney stack to get a little more heat off of it moving around the shop.

This is a low volume air-mover. It's is clearly too small to do what you expected of it. The size of it in comparison to the electric fan in this video should have been a not so subtle hint to this effect. No disrespect intended, but I think your review is very unfair. I know two people that have fans that appears identical to the one in your video, currently using them in small portable buildings, and in deer blinds mounted atop Mr Buddy heaters. Both say they definitely help. "Like" given on your video trying to balance out my criticism.

Thanks Tim for watching. I knew it wouldn't do the same as the large electric fan I was just hoping for a bit more BUT that was based off of another experience with a similar type fan. Friends hunting cabin is larger than my wood shop and they have one and does a good enough job moving air but do realize theirs I think is bigger and the cabin is much better sealed up. I'll probably send this one off to another buddies enclosed hunting blind and do with it just as you say, put it on a buddy heater. Your criticism is appreciated and I do agree my hopes were much higher for it than probably reasonable. I still dont' recommend this one for a shop of any size but more for those small instances you noted.
