Blackbeard is probably the most mysterious character in one piece aside from dragon and roger, was he covering just to put on a show? or was he covering up to make sure no one sees the process of him take the tremor tremor fruit? How is he the only person to have the ability to possess two, what is he? Many theories around the fanbase but no concrete answer....

Aces death did not bother me much, he was a thickheaded fool who acted like a main character and got punished for it because he did not have the proper plot armor. Him throwing his life away after so many people sacrificed for him, knowing that the legendary Whitebeard would die to ensure his escape, was what made me not care about him. I definitely cared about Whitebeard though, he was an amazing character and I regret that he was not around longer.

I'm going to said it without spoiler but with logic, blackbeard isn't the strongest man for a lot of reason. First off he needs to protect himself with his power (he said its a logia but we haven't seen him become shadow) because he said that he takes more damage. Haki, normal punch, gun, weapon can pretty much pass his devil fruit so against enemy that aren't so reliable on devil fruit he can't do much. He lack speed and defense(i think that if withebeard wasn't injured, he could have solo him with just his weapon). The dark fruit is only good against devil fruit but on other enemy its like fighting a normal one. The tremor fruit makes him pretty strong but he lack experience
