The picture of the girl in the window is my aunt Jan. She passed away last Nov of liver cancer. Thank you for using those pictures. You got me all teary eyed :). So neat to see my family in a cool book :). The diva is my grandmother and you got her exactly right. She was a fast car, world traveling wild woman :)

Rebecca Combs I have a picture almost exactly the same in my dads photo album of the cadet. My dad was in the Canadian armed forces and took a bunch of pictures of his friends in their uniforms. Think it would be in the early 50’s.

Thanks so much for this. I adapted it to make a monthly "journal" for a friend who is newly separated and now has his little 5 year old boy part time. The plan is that when they are together they can write down memories and put movie tickets or any other memorabilia in the monthly pocket. He loved it x

I came to journal making by accident, my daughter was going on holiday to Venice, a 21st birthday present from my sister. I had just started leather crafting as a complementary skill for my silversmithing and decided to make her and the two friends she went with a travel journal each. Then my son went to university and I made him a journal to help him control/monitor his expenditure. It worked. I then rested on my laurels. I went back to silversmithing. As a result of the research I’d carried out on Pinterest and KZbin I received recommendations relating to journaling from time to time. I watched one of yours and I was hooked. I now find excuses to make journals for friends and family, I love your Frankenpages (I do my silversmithing on a Frankenbench I discovered the tutorial for on Pinterest) I have never been disappointed with any of your videos. They are funny and informative by turn. Thank you.

I have 100's of vintage photos of and taken by my family dating back to the 1900's. To sell by digital method, would I first make a copy to keep or can I use the original photo to set up the digital to sell? I saw this video a year ago and the thought just popped into my mind to make some money with my old photos. Thank you for anyone who happens across this and responds. :)

Your comment about the wonky Fiskars trimmer got my attention. When I "upgraded" to a "better" trimmer some years ago it was to a second or third Fiskar's trimmer, just larger than my old one (which was perfectly accurate). And I swear the cutting blade groove is not at a right angle to the end guards that you butt the paper up to TO GET A RIGHT ANGLE CUT. First I thought it was me, but I'm pretty obsessive about accuracy and I now know it's not me--it's the trimmer. I also read the comment below about Fiskars customer service and I clearly need to contact them. But what I need most of all is a trimmer that will cut a 90 degree angle to the edge of the paper!!! Clearly this hit a nerve for me :-) but thanks for getting me moving on doing something about that annoying paper trimmer! Cool treatment of a Plain Jane notebook. A great trick to have in back pocket! Thanks for another great video.
