Dear friends,
**Prepare the Batter**: In a mixing bowl, combine 250g of wheat flour, 50g of maida (all-purpose flour), salt to taste, and 1/2 tsp of sugar. Gradually add water to the mixture, stirring continuously to avoid lumps. Aim for a consistency similar to dosa batter, which should be slightly runny.
**Heat the Pan**: Place a non-stick tawa or a flat pan on medium heat. Allow it to heat up properly before you start cooking.
**Cook the Chappathi**: Pour a ladleful of batter onto the center of the hot pan. Using the back of the ladle, spread the batter in a circular motion to form a thin layer, similar to making a dosa.
**Cook Evenly**: Drizzle a few drops of oil or ghee around the edges of the chappathi. Cook until the bottom side turns golden brown and crisp. Flip and cook the other side until done.
**Serve Hot**: Once both sides are cooked, remove the chappathi from the pan and serve hot with your choice of chutney or curry.
Enjoy your wheat chappathi in dosa style!
