I have the Scuba and I still have my old corded Dolphin. The Scuba cleans the pool SO MUCH BETTER than my Dolphin. I was shocked how much better it cleans the pool and I was always happy with the cleaning job the Dolphin did. I honestly bought the Aiper Scuba thinking I would try it, not like it and return it within the 30 days but I absolutely love it.

Excellent review m8 and thanks for your efforts. I've owned a Seagull pro lite ($899 aud) for about 6 months now and love it. However, it would be nice if it climbed the steps like the Scuba pro. Also that ultra fine filter would be excellent for my area for the dust etc. Thanks again. Mick from Australia 👍

Did the Scuba have a hinged lid? As I've heard they aren't as easy to clean as the Seagull? Thanks in advance.

Did you find the hinged lid on the filter basket on the Scuba more awkward to clean than the Seagull? Also, doesn't the Scuba have a second filter? Wouldn't that be more efficient in dusty areas?

how's the battery life in general I mean after extended use, and is it replaceable once it's not charging anymore ? thanks

Neither have a replaceable battery without losing the warranty and pretty much taking the whole thing apart. Good luck trying to put it back together without issues. I've had the Seagull Pro for 2 seasons now, and the battery life is about the same as when it was new. Obviously, I'm not standing out there counting the minutes, but roughly it's the same 3 hours. The Scuba is in its first season but only has a 2.5-hour battery.

I agree would rather see the floors done first, but maybe they're thinking that stuff on the walls will get scraped off to the floor so do them first.

Will the tires on the Aiper Pro damage a vinyl liner. Are the tires more of a hard plastic vs rubber?

As you can see in the video I have a pool liner. I’ve been using the Seagull Pro for about a year and it’s been great to the liner. I would say the wheels are semi-hard rubber. Even the tracks on the Scuba S1 are also semi-hard rubber.

I have a deep end and I wasn't sure if the AiperScubaE1 could handle the deep end slope. Also, I really like the fact that the S1 can do walls and waterline but the E1 can not. Thanks again!

You're very welcome. Thats a good question and honestly I don't know. I don't have an E1 or an above ground pool but quickly reading online some people do use the S1 and they say its fine, and others say don't cause the loose liner could get sucked in. The S1 suction is apparenetly more powerful than the E1.

The smaller power supply is cheaper, not better. A larger beefier supply is probably higher wattage for faster charging and will last longer. That's why the charge time is so long on the Scuba.

I like it and I don't mind a slower charge. Its better for the battery long term and if people need fast charging for this type of device, then they need to plan better or fix whats making the pool so dirty so fast.
