Hi, Thank you for this video. I have taken this route: LONDON - ALGIERS and back for more than forty years. Unfortunately, Air Algeria is no longer the same. Due to the lack of competition, Air Algeria doesn't seem to care about its customers as it used to. The introduction of British Airways helped initially, but recently, especially after COVID-19, BA is better than it used to be. Recently, I flew from London Gatwick to Malaga and then Seville to Gatwick and the quality was better. The distance of both routes is about 1000 miles, but the price of the return is one-third. The only difference is competition. If one day, Open Sky is introduced in Algeria, the quality of the service will improve.

Just took air algerie on 08.07.24 LHR-ALG, the night landing was brilliant. Airport was empty, and we got out in less than 30minutes

The business class of Air Algerie is the economy class of Qatar Airways 😂

There’s a thing called short-haul service, why are you expecting 5 star services in a 2 hour flight, Qatar airways is a long-haul airline therefore their quality for long haul fleet and routes are expected to be really good, for a short-haul flight like this it’s really impressive and companies like AirFrance and BritishAirways don’t serve high quality services and quality like this, it’s fantastic.

It's a budget business class on one of Air Algerie's older planes. The newer ones are much better, compared to United, Delta, or Air France business class.

Considering that this is a 2hour 25minute flight, what exactly is wrong with this business class? Compared to BA Club Europe which you would get on a BA flight from LHR to ALG the seating is pure luxury. Or compared to US domestic First Class on a 2hour 25 minute flight.

C'est une business class classique pour les moyens courriers. Vous qui n'avaient aucune connaissance pensaient que toutes les classes affaires ont des lits, or, ce n'est pas le cas pour les moyens courriers. (American Airline, Air Canada, Royal Air Maroc, etc.) Air Algérie dispose bel et bien de ces fameux lits dans ses avions longs courriers.

Pour les habitués se 1ère classe il ya seulement 6 ans c'était super. Un repas complet et équilibré. Le plateau de fromage et la corbeille sont servis à part après le repas. Quant au café on le prenait avec de la pâtisserie raffinée et des macarons. Aujourd'hui c la catastrophe!

Il a l'air très bon et est bien plus consistant que ce qu'offrent d'autres compagnies comme American Airlines. Si tu n'es pas satisfait qu'Air Algérie mette de l'avant la culture Algérienne alors tu as beaucoup de compagnie dans l'occident que tu adules à prendre pour manger des omelettes industrielles pour dejeuner. C'est vrai que parfois il y a des choses à dénoncer mais vous dénoncez juste par haine rendu là.

That first class is horrible! I’m touring North Africa and recently flew from New York to Casablanca on their 787-9 Dreamliner. The business class is WAY better then this!

First its not a first class but a businesswomans class and comparing a 8hrs flight to a 2hrs flight is just ridiculous also the service on ram from New York to casablanca on their business class on the dreamliner is just bad for a 8hrs flight.

You can not compare a long 8 hour flight from New York to casablanca in 787 with a short 2 hour flight from London to Algiers.

First of all, this is business Class NOT First Class. Secondly this is a 2 hour 25 minute flight and the seating is as good as any US domestic First Class on a 2 hour 25 minute flight and the seating is much much better than British Airways Club Europe product on the same route. Thirdly, why are you comparing a 2 hour 25 minute short haul flight on the Algerian airline Air Algerie with a transatlantic flight on the Moroccan airline Royal Air Maroc as of course Air Algerie DO NOT fly from New York to Casablanca.
