It's great to see videos on these S200 air rifles! I can personally say that after a tune on one of these they become an incredible little sniper. For pesting, and or hunting I have found this S200 to be a gem! It's interesting to see how these are branded towards young shooters, and as this gentleman has stated, "for wifey". But after owning 4 of these rifles I would totally disagree on who they are made for!! I would agree that a smaller person could feel comfortable shooting it, but this little gem in the right hands and pimped up with a regulator, gauge/quick fill, trigger polishing/adjustment, and topped off with a quality scope, can literally become one of the most accurate rifles you will shoot! I have used them from 12fpe to 15fpe and dropping Jackrabbit with absolutely no problem, ground squirrels, cotton tails, as well. Most of the kill shoots are between 30-95 yards! The correct shoot placement is king, and at 14-15fpe, this easily achieved. I have various expensive and fantastic air guns, call me crazy, but my "go to gun" is the S200 in 1.77 caliber as it has a great trajectory. The CZ cold hammer made barrels on these S200's are incredibly well made AND accurate!! What's NOT to like about a lightweight, manageable, scary accurate, well made, great looking, simple to maintain, extremely tunable air gun?! I believe there are 4to5 Types of S200's Your son should be very happy to inherit that little gem! :-) :-) :-)

My favourite PCP totally reliable and accurate ,this video is spot on .Mine is fully customised Rob Lane Mk 9 Lancet Reg Rat works barrel crowned threaded Rowan bolt Rowan Trigger Rowan barrel band Removed forward barrel mount so free floated ,used Sportsmstch reach forward mounts with AB3 raisers for magazine clearance. Sling &qd swivels Uncle Mike,s Adjustable exhaust valve spring New O rings through out ,10 shot mag conversion.80 shots in .22 off 190 bar charge nearly 100 bar left! Air Arms Owners Group brilliant for your trigger job not that bad.Also Airgun Sniper Elite on you tube is S200 guru.Good luck stay safe keep posting.Kind Regards Tony

Forgot to add I'm using SAK moderator (Jackson Rifles)1/2" unf ,really good but best was Hogun Decimetre 1/2"unf awesome.

@@gardenguns my brother bought me the mag conversion for Xmas one year, went to all sports in Gloucester to get it and walked out with a daystate LR90 as well.. needless to say the mrs at the time was not impressed?…..

Out of the box it is pretty good. Stock trigger let’s it down a bit though. The S200 is all about the barrel. CZ know what they are doing apparently!

I have a s200, mk 3 , as for the trigger, the adjusting grub screws can be taken out one at a time and rounded off with some fine Emery paper makes the trigger so much better, i have done it, it works, 😁👍

Where did you buy the muffler and what is the name of the regulitre

The moderator is a Huggett Belita, purchased at Leicestershire Airguns. The regulator is a Tench installed by Ratworks.

Have the same gun with the rat works full tuning/ barrel threaded/ manometer etc PS your tuning would have had the sears polished if done by Phil (all part of the service)

I've got a MK2 done nothing but round off the stock, fantastic little gun, went to buy a BSA ultra but got talked out of it, thank god. You can't beat these s200 s in 177.

I love my Ultra it is incredibly accurate, however I do agree that the S200 has it beat!

@@gardenguns nothing wrong with the ultra but the 200 is a accidentally very special gun made by a fantastic gun producer.. I think it caught AA out how popular it became.

I think for the price it is one of the best rifles going. There is nothing that can match that CZ barrel for the same cash! 👍

i own the same air rifle and i would like to improve it for pest control, i just got a Yukon Photon RT and i ask is the free floating barrel actually useful in order to improve the accuracy?

A lot of guys have done the free float barrel mod, I haven’t taken off the barrel strap on mine. Since would say it will definitely aid consistency however in terms of real world accuracy I am probably not a good enough shooter to see the difference! I would say trigger work and a regulator are the best mods.

@@gardenguns the floating barrels allows you the best accuracy possible on rifles and air rifles; ideally the barrell must be naked: no compensators, suppressors, sight or scope mount should touch it; i assume for an air rifle such as our AA S200 the floating barrel allows you better groups on the long distance; so you can probably hit more easily the killzone of a rat 100 meters away; with the standard barrel, you could have a kill anyways.... but not so clean maybe.

Hi, glad you enjoyed the video. Makes it worth the time and the effort! I think we get around 60 based on a 190 bar fill. Enough for a comp and a few zeroing shots before hand. Hope this helps.
