the cool thing about Nyango Star is he saved a farming towns industry. They were slowly going out bankrupt. He came up with this idea to become their mascot to help bring tourist into the town. Which worked, and ontop of the he kept the rights to the character and all merch he sells. So the town wins and he wins.

The drummer is a heavy metal drumm player who comes from a very small City in japan. This city is famous for producing apples (and the costume he is wearing represents an apple) . Each time i watch his video, i am amazed by his ability to play and that level wearing this think lolllll. They call him Nyango star

The Mascot very much overqualified for his job is named "Nyango Star" and instead of horribly recounting my fragmented knowledge, I just ripped this explanation from the video VICE did on the subject.
