NYANGOSTAR, the "apple mascot" from Aomori, Japan. There's a lot of clips out there of him playing different metal songs - go figure in this day and age, but it's still nice to see that they exist! He also did an audition/guest appearance in a "studio recording" thing that Maximum the Hormone did (which was a great time)!

The thing with this clip is everyone is in on the joke - he's not just going off randomly. I suspect NyangoStar might be a woman too - if you see other clips whomever it is in the suit is pretty short in comparrison to the other characters and also in comparrison to the humans around the stage.

The Apple costume could be soft-headed, and the performer could be looking down through the eye holes. Comparing the snare to the knee would tell a lot.

@@jerrylouis8930 - The most likely answer is Nao Kawakita from Maximum the Hormone. The timelines match up, the skill set matches up as does the height. Even looking down the person in the ostume would not be particularly tall as the costume simply isn't that tall.
