Could you sculpt around something watertight, like a glass jar or plastic?

you certainly can like I do in other videos, you just have to be prepared that around a solid structure cracking will occur.

Once it’s fully dry mine no longer has an odour, as that would not be great otherwise, good point thank you 😊

Did you allow the Dishwasher ModPodge cure for 28 days? That is what they recommend. I use it on my decoupage stone coasters and more. I adore the vase you made that you tested the PVA glue on🥰🥰🥰🥰

I have others curing and waiting out the 28 days, not this one though no, as it's not going to get to a high temp. Thanks for watching.

It would be super if you could, this is best using something like stoneware and finding somewhere to fire your clay in a kiln

Can you experiment with heat when doing air dry clay? I’ve been wanting to do a heat lamp and oil burners for a while. Would appreciate it if you experimented with heat !! 💖💖

I wanted to experiment with heat too, even so I wouldn't use air dry clay for an oil burner, you would want stoneware that you can fire in a kiln.

as it's oil based mine leaves a slight yellow to any white areas, it's best over colours, but i quite like the look it gives

Yes that would work great, just let it dry really well between coats 😊
