This was the first movie I saw Harrison Ford in after which I actually started THINKING of him as Harrison Ford, instead of just Han Solo. A great performance, and a perfect actor to play this character. (I hadn't seen "The Fugitive" until a few years after this movie, but that was onother great Harrison Ford movie and performance.)

As my nephew and niece get older, I'm making a list of new movies for them to watch - and I'm definitely adding this one amongst several other awesome 90s action films like The Fugitive, In the Line of Fire, True Lies, Clear and Present Danger etc. I can't wait to see their reactions :) These movies definitely hold up.

Awesome when i watched as a kid.... Corny..absurd and outlandish...when i rewatched it now😂...but still kinda ok tho...way too much of a patriotic feel for my taste now😂😂...that room full of people cheered in relief...the patriotic trumpets sound effects😂😂...damn this was so 90s😂
