Loving the air fryer - I held off for too long!! Anyway - I found quickly that air-frying poultry and pork - target 5-10 degrees below what you want - typically 155 is what I shoot for - then let it rest for 5 mins and it will continue to cook without drying out. Also - I do 380 for about everything unless it is really thick, then I may drop down a bit. No matter what the meat is - I flip every 4 mins. Chicken breasts go about 8-10 total mins and chops usually go about 15 for thicker chops. The air fryer is fun and I try all kinds of rubs and seasonings that have been gathering dust in my cupboard ; )

I’m a newbie to air frying so I’m watching videos to learn as much as I can. Most videos show people misting their meat with oil before placing the basket into the fryer. They say it helps crisp up the meat. Is this something you think is or isn’t important? I saw that you didn’t do this. Also do times and temps vary depending on the brand of air fryer? A lot of videos I’ve watched say to air fry pork chops at 400 but you said 375. So is it 400 or 375? I’m scared I’m going to ruin my pork chops. Thank you for any help/advice! BRW I just bought myself the 5 qt Instant Vortex.
