@ChefJackOvens3 ай бұрын
Thank you 🙏 the pickled veg will last up to 2 months in the fridge, fully submerged in the brine. I add water to prevent them from being too acidic. Sugar can also be added like I said to prevent it further

Chicken✅️ Rice✅️ Veggies✅️ Limes✅️ Avocado 😮 running to the store! 😂 How donyou keep the avocado from turning brown in this meal prep?
@andieluke13663 ай бұрын
If you mix some lime juice onto avocados, it will prevent the oxidation. For apples, pears etc, a quick soak in salty water would also do the trick (no need for a ton of salt. A few pinches into a bowl of water will do)

Yes, I use the same chopping board. It’s thoroughly cleaned and with food safe disinfectant and sanitised. Also in the videos, you may see me cutting chicken first but it’s actually cut at the end so I’m not having to wash my board multiple times. It’s the way the video is edited

Hi, One thing it would really make the meal prep series to stand from other ones, is that if your maybe actually showed us how you re heated the meals when taking out of the fridge and freezer. What settings, approach you used for the meal specifically and how did it end up looking like. Thanks for the video! Well done.
@ChefJackOvens3 ай бұрын
Hey, Ive thought about doing that and I'll give it a shot to see how it goes. All I do though is take it out the fridge and microwave it in 1 minute bursts. It usually takes 3 minutes but will depend on the meal. I can honestly say, ive never changed a setting on a microwave in my whole entire professional cooking career haha. Its also hard for me to do that in the video as I don't want to microwave a container and then have to throw it away straight after as I don't usually eat the recipes I make straight away.

@ChefJackOvens3 ай бұрын
Do you know that this video is edited and I’m talking at the beginning then adding the prep scenes as an overlay. I always cut protein at the end after all the veggies and what not have been prepared. Regardless of that, even if I did cut the chicken at the beginning do you think I’d just start chopping veg on it. Everything in my kitchen is incredibly clean and spotless. Sanitised, disinfected and clean
@annontube52013 ай бұрын
@@ChefJackOvens wow... Sass much? All my information comes from the video, and the way you present it doesn't invite the thought that you switched the prep step, maybe next time explain this to your audience so some kid trying to copy you doesn't prep raw mean before the veg? Or at the very very least! Explain that you sanitize your cutting board?! Not everybody here would think you edited the video not in order of what happened
