Just my personal preference, but I like putting my spice mix underneath the skin rather than on top so the spices don't burn and the meat gets even more flavorful. But yeah this is one of my favorite lazy dinners and one of my favorite ways to eat chicken. I usually eat it with white rice or roasted carrots and mushrooms

Great recipe! I'm on my own now so these recipes come in handy. I would definitely suggest letting the chicken rest after cooking! The reason there's excessive dripping is because the juices haven't had time to settle back into the meat. If you wait just a little the chicken wont be less juicy, it will just be less excessively drippy.

Good question - at the time I filmed this, my air fryer was only an air fryer, so there were no other options to consider. Today's air fryers are much more sophisticated, offering more options. This should be done on "air fry." And my guess is that most recipes you see that are called "air fryer" recipes are all set to air fry unless otherwise specified.

I don't think it's a silly question at all. I am also a new air fryer user and wonder how people cook a whole meal in the fryer, especially for a large family. I am a single family and I just steam my vegetables, or make the side dish on the stove while the chicken is cooking in the air fryer.
