Air Fryer Nando's Peri-Peri Chicken Recipe:
Ingredients:
8 cloves garlic
1 cup of olive oil
1/2 cup of red wine vinegar
1 lemon, juiced
4 red chili peppers
1 tsp sea salt
1 tsp of black pepper
a couple of sprigs of thyme
4 tsp paprika
5 Lbs Chicken
Step 1
MAKE THE MARINADE
Peel the garlic cloves and stick into a food blender with the oil, lemon juice, vinegar, thyme, chilies, salt, and black pepper. Blend to a smooth marinade.
Step 2
RUB OVER THE MARINADE and get it under the skin as well. Leave in the fridge overnight, highly recommended. Save some of the Marinade.
Step 3
Air Fry THE CHICKEN
Set your air fryer to temperature 390°and timer to 33 Minutes. Pre-heat air fryer for 3 minutes. Air Fry the chicken for a total time of 30 minutes, 15 minutes per side.
Step 4
Once the chicken has cooked, place on a plate or platter and pour the rest of the Nando's Peri-Peri sauce on it.
Step 5
SERVE WITH CHIPS!
Serve with plenty of fresh salad and some chunky chips.
