it's so weird to me how the manufacturer (Jordan Brand) can't seem to consistently get the shape right on AJ1s. The first thing I noticed on these Stealth 1s was how chunky the toebox looks compared to the Taxi 1s. The toebox on the Taxi 1s looks really low and sleek but on these Stealth 1s it looks alot higher.

That’s just an illusion. The white cupsole moving up to a white toe panel then a sudden shift with the grey panel. But they’re similar to the taxi in actual shape.

Honestly speaking, people have to make things clear between leather quality and softness. Shattered backboard leather is soft but that doesn’t mean it’s of high quality. It’s just the factory manufacture process that softened it more and that’s it. High quality leather is determined by its grain, not its hardness or softness. Also, I find shattered backboard annoyingly soft as if it has lost its structural integrity that it literally just crumbles down when you apply just a tiny bit of pressure onto it. It’s legitimately overrated.

I was on the fence about these and ended up grabbing them for $145. I'm rocking them around the house right now for the fun of it and I'm loving them. Can't wait to wear them to work on Monday. One Swoosh is noticeably wrinkled/tumbled more than the others, but everything else is clean. Not only the inside of the ankles are that microfiber material, but the soul is very similar. I've got the Gray laces in and it seems like the best balance to me. Unusual colorblocking + finished product = Happy I bought them.

I don’t mind the color blocking, but for me it’s too much white, so the secondary color it’s kinda relegated, and that doesn’t happen with Breds, Royals etc, it’s exactly the opposite which makes them look so much better imo

Caught an L on the stealth and the heritage on the drop date but got em on the restock 💪 I gotta say I love one's and these is 🔥 imo if the heritage and the stealth would be anything closed to the bloodline quality they would be super dope shoe and yes I do compare alot of recent one's to the bred toes and bloodline just because I never got a chance to snag the shattered backboard so I wouldn't know what quality is like! Jordan 1 quality has gone down significantly.. it’s sad. Shoe reselling blew up so much that the shoe company’s started to cut more corners with their shoes. I just hope Jordan’s will be able to go in store floors now.. instead of having to order them online. Walking into a store and trying them on and to buy Jordan’s that way is much funner.
