Just got my pair in today and I’m disappointed in them. First thing that stood out to me were the janky ass tongues. They’re thick and unevenly stitched making it look jagged and fat like the fakes. These remind me of the tongues on 1989-99 Retro 4s. The 06’ version had the clean curved tongue style we usually get. The nubuck material ain’t nothing special but they’re prone to get ashy over time no matter what. And no “Black Cat” stitching detail on the heel tabs either? Smh...Nike needs to do a recall on these, they look like B-Grade defects. That’s probably why they decided to release them earlier than scheduled.
