I like the idea of OSU going after an athletic QB, like Milroe, because if Day can ever coach him up, by working on his footwork consistency, then he can improve his accuracy. Plus they can also run a bunch of packages using Milroe as a RB/WR/TE where he can pull up and throw during screens, bootlegs, and while running the Wildcat on the goal line/Red Zone and during short yardage situations. It could make the offense explosive and difficult for opponents to stop if done correctly. Especially with Day and Chip's creativity, which is what fans really want to see.

@roris58829 күн бұрын
Yup, there will be a lot of questions that need to be asked to Day and his staff for choosing to settle for mediocrity instead of upgrading at every position because they are too loyal to the upperclassmen. Day could have upgraded at Kicker, but chose to settle for Fielding, who struggles kicking 30 yarders. It's another example of Day's complacency and lack of forward thinking and preparing ahead, which Day isn't known for and why he has a history of always falling short.

Unfortunately Michigan isn't that forward thinking because they chose to place all their eggs in 1 basket by overpaying for Underwood. What if he gets injured or is a bust? Or what if he transfers out because he wants to compete in the playoffs? It could go south and set the program back for years.

@@roris5882 Just because Sayin was the annointed one from the time he arrived doesn't convince me that he is better. I wanted them to keep Air. Don't know why they took Sayin when they had Air. Sayin may be advanced but why didn't we start him this year? Air is more dual threat too. We also don't ever need 5 QBs on the roster like this year.
