Originally I bought the force over a mpc because I wanted the synth production studio in a box since I don’t use alot of samples. Now it seems like I made the wrong decision. Akai please give us force users some hope here. I really hope this ever expanding list of missing plugins gets added to the force soon.

@@DonBrowsing This will help to introduce both Old and New producers of different units under one house. Within this merger the acquaintance all UNITS functionality can be obtained within a session. Imagine ,I have a 2000xl(which I do ) and arrived at your studio with the newer MPC SE.Now suppose , I never owned a newer MPCs, if that plugin was available, you would select ie.2000Xl ,then would surf and navigate with ease. Once done hit CONVERT,and save to 2.0 Firmware and/or save for me in 2000xl file for my SD reader to finish at my studio. By this, AKAI would maintain the Akai's Heritage .This strategy will also encourage Ol' School Headz to go out and purchase the latest MPCs.A win win for Akai and the community 😀 👏 👍

@@HubertCopeland-mu3eh dope idea depends where you're going with it. I can imagine legacy interface with expended functions like time stretch and fx of course. However on 2.0 interfaces i think Akai did a good job on upgrading that interface to allow more functions, so it's kind if the same. But i do see how it can be implemented in a mpc minamalist mode without taking away some dream features legacy users would want.

For all the people on the fence about this please give it a chance. The sound design elements of this thing are off the charts and it’s so much more than a 808 maker. It might only be a mono synth but it’s packing sounds for days and see the vision if they allow you to import user wavetables and samples, it could end up being the best of all the plugins.

Sub Factory is designed to run on standalone MPC systems running 2.14 or later, including: MPC One, MPC Live, Live II, MPC X, MPC Key 61, MPC One + and MPC Key 37. Sub Factory is not currently available for Force customers.

It's a more complex bass generation plugin/inst. So yes it's different to the Roland TR-808. It's value added to the MPC platform. Face it, BASS has evolved since 1981.

Unless you play a track in the club that was produced on an actual tr 808 drum machine no matter the boom, It’s still a sampled 808 from another sampled 808. The boom and saturation is all in the mixing process. Even Planet Rock was run through a Neve.

Hey, please help. i made an error, i was looking throuhg the house and found a 9 gb SCSI disc with a cable. i recently installed a floppy emulator in my CD3000XL to use it with my MPC X, so the lid was still open, i thought lets also try the old SCSI drive. Without actually checking the manual, i used J3 jumper, it looked the same connector, i noticed the SCSI cable got a little hot. Now i have destroyed somehow the display, it does light up, shows some activity, but shows no digits or pixels, just some rows initially, building a square but than turns uniform blue. the sampler it self appears to be in fully working order, the buttons light up and work, even the floppy emulator shows activity when pushing the save button. Darn like 29 unused years in it's box and now i messed up. Is there some European Akai workshop to send it for repair?

Hello, Basically i play with a keyboard player and he uses certain patterns on the keyboard so usually we just connect via Midi cable on my Roland one to ensure they all sync but i'm trying to figure the same process on my Mpc one. Basically, when keyboard players press start, my mpc one should start playing the pattern along with whatever he sequenced on the keyboard. As long as i set the pattern ready to go, when the keyboard player press start on the keyboard, my Mpc should start playing. Can someone help with this? Thanks
