Korosensei grew up thinking that his life had no value, and so he felt others' lives did not have any meaning either. So, it seemed that he no longer cared what happened even though he became a lab experiment. It took a single person to notice him, to see him for him, his potential, his worth. Despite the monster he seemed to become, he had a choice in a crucial moment. That person made such an impact on him. He saw worth in people, in himself, no matter how flawed humanity seemed. Instead of ending his life, he took what little time left he had to impart this import feeling and lesson to others. A penance and promise to someone who gave him a chance. You know, even despite his past or what he was becoming, Aguri never looked him any differently or treated him differently than any other person. This anime has made an impact on me. Whether we are teachers or not, we should look at people for their talents, their potential, and just their overall worth as a person. My girlfriend was the only girl in the world to be like Aguri to me. No matter how many times I mess up, how weird I may be, or other flaw I had, she never judged me. She only ever listened, smiled, wanted to help. She doesn't see me for my faults or judge me. Such a trait is so rare nowadays, but it's something we can do simply by choosing to "see" people for real. 2022 Edit: Made this comment 4 years ago and surprised to find the comments have not been all that cynical. Thank you. We have actually been married for nearly 4 years now, and I've gone through intense darkness and depression in this last year especially. This song has meant more than ever to me now. My wife has stuck through it with me all this time despite my worst mistakes and gives me hope amidst the darkness, even for how I look at myself. Life's been rough for so many people the last couple years I know... I never meant to say that I'm lucky, but if there isn't an Aguri in your life, hopefully you can be one for someone else. "I want to be weak. To be riddled with weaknesses, easy to talk to… To be able to perceive the weak, protect them, guide them…" I find myself simply coming back to this quote from time to time. If I'm not being too emotional, I hope you all are doing well! A moonlight in the darkness is much better than absolute darkness.

Beautiful song from a tragic moment in Assassination Classroom. This is the reason why I waited until I felt my younger family members were old enough to handle some of the tough moments in this series before I showed them episodes of Assassination Classroom. The series is so funny and beautiful, yet it also does not shy away from the more brutal parts of reality that we all may have to face someday if we were put into that same situation. This song Moonlight reminds me of a father having to raise his kids on his own after his wife passed away.

I keep trying to figure out whose theme is more painful on my heart to listen to... This one (Akuri's) or his (Tabadichi No Uta) Both of their respective songs are equally sad, but somehow I always find this one more painful, which is weird because we only see her for a grand total of 2 episodes out of the whole show, and yet somehow, just that little bit of time was enough for us to get to know her and actually feel like he did when we see her fate. Also, does anyone else ever feel like when he told her to "beat it", he was trying to save her and that was his way of doing so? Like I know he was trying to be menacing, but everytime I watch that episode, I feel like as much as he was threatening her, some part of him was trying to save her.

I’m planning on writing a fanfic MhA x over with this anime where Korosensei(human form) and Aguri are reincarnated in MHA and their son is the reaper guy. Basic plot: reaper guy attends U.A. I did, but what I mean is that there's usually a community for fan-made stories (which are more commonly known as fanfiction) that exists on several platforms already, like FanFiction.net, Archive of Our Own, Tumblr, etc. But because I've never gone to search or read any fanfictions that already exists, I can't say for certain whether or not your idea will be well-received, especially if you plan to publish it on the web. But personally, I think the idea sounds interesting so if you want to go for it, I think it's a great idea ^^

The problem with foreign language covers is that part of the original meaning always ends up being lost or diminished, especially in deeply emotional songs like "Moonlight" from Assassination Classroom. Nevertheless, it's a still a solid attempt and definitely an enjoyable experience, well done !
