You can check quickly with a lawyer and try go to consumer tribunal. If the law is on your side then you have a good chance.

We once lost our bag rain cover which is tightly attached to our bag, and never got any reimbursement

@@SuyinOng yes we did. Similar experience as you.. “nothing they can do” we cannot understand how something that is clipped secure, can completely detached from the bag. I hope they reimburse back to you as well. It’s not cheap surfboard

I do! But it won’t be enough to make up for the custom board :( and also, the board was made for me and it’s can’t be fixed to mimic the same make
