The actual event was so bad people called the police. Imagine a warehouse with a bouncehouse and some sad uninterested people in a costume with a few props.

The last (and I do mean last) time I stayed at an Airbnb there was a $100 PER NIGHT cleaning fee and it came with instructions for cleaning the bathroom, including which cleaning products were acceptable to use…at your own expense. Naturally none of that (except the fee) was disclosed when we booked the place.

I will not rent another Airbnb after my most recent experience. From the door lock upon arrival to the cleaning and laundry instructions, I didn't enjoy worrying about the owner's requirements. I am happier in a hotel!

Sure but the rooms with an actual stove are pretty rare. For 1-3 months stays for work contracts, you really need a stove and a full fridge or your food bill will be untenable.

That’s for a reason. Guest would steal all the supplies like TP, towels, sheets, coffee, pillows, soaps, cleaning supplies. Outdoor cameras show them loading their cars with all the contents. Owners closets holds the towels and sheets and pillows so one can change out to new stuff and clean stuff quickly.
