If you want your cleaning crew to set things up a certain way consider taking pics of how you want it arranged & give to them so they have a visual reference. Your place is probably one of many they clean & to expect them to specifically remember your preferences might be a big ask. Just a thought.

Oh my goodness!! i love it!! My Husband and I use to own our own Cleaning Company and our Favorite Clients were the Air B&B's/Vacation Homes.... We Contracted with an Owner who lived in Columbia full time, His Property was Our baby!! We were so In Love with Managing his cute little place, we were so proud of it... 4 years ago we unfortunately had to move away and leave our clients behind... My Heart Aches to one day own our own one day!! Watching this Make me a bit emotional... So Beautiful!!!

You should get fabric shower curtain liners! They don’t feel as gross if you accidentally touch them, they are washable so your cleaner can wash between bookings, and they look nicer!

My mom comes to Florida at the end of October ever year an drives from Massachusetts most of the time. An I was telling her all about your airbnb an if she gets tired I new of one in South Carolina. An was like score I may have to contact them at one point when I travel to Florida

I use the fabric liners because you can just throw them in the washer (don't dry, just hang after washing).

Congratulations on been ' Super Hosts ', just goes to show your Airbnb is welcoming, your considerate of your guests. So good you also appreciate any suggestions guests make to make it even better. The bathroom looked good Asa but needed the Cilla upgrade. How nice Cilla will be able to put up a tree if they celebrate the Christmas season. My 6 siblings with spouses stayed stayed in an Airbnb the first week of December 3 years ago. The owners had a Christmas tree. We had a gift exchange. It was decorated for the season and we loved it. You may want to consider decorating for the month.

I live in Australia, but I would totally love to go to Blowing Rock. One of my favourite authors, Jan Karon, lives in Blowing Rock. Her Mitford series is absolutely amazing. One touch I would make for the house would be some books by local authors on the shelves.:)

You really did an awesome job on the “refresh”! I loved the new shower curtain and floor rug. It really made the bathroom brighter. Hey, Pricilla, Asa did a good job picking the first shower curtain (form over fashion). He could have been like my hubby and picked any one of the thousands of beige or white that my hubby thinks would be fashionable! It drivers me crazy that white and beige are flashy colors. I think that’s what happens when your mother has rose colored walls when you grew up. I agree, that if you made a choice to live at the rental full time, the extra door would have to go. I’d even suggest the small linen closet door be removed and a curtain or a rattan sliding door be hung there. It would take away from the four doors and make the space feel larger. I love the Blue Ridge highway. Maybe I spring the hubby and I take a drive from the Shenandoah Mountains, VA to Boone, NC. Spend a few days enjoying mountain life. 😂 💜💜💜

Rather than throw out shower liners adding to plastic pollution, spray them with either a laundry pre treatment or a shower cleaner. Then throw them in the washing machine on a warm wash. Hang up on the rods to let them dry. Save your money, and reduce your trash.😊

I agree, but it’s important to put a couple of bath towels in the washer with the shower curtain. Gives some scrubbing power and, most importantly, keeps the liner from coming out all crunched up.

I absolutely love Boone since my son is Alumina from App State 🎉. We had an amazing time going to graduation there. The restaurants are all great and thrifting at the shops is fabulous finds.

I was an AirBNB Manager here in Cincinnati for 3 years. The owners lived in Canada but I would flip the houses from 11am-4pm and be "on call" for anything the guests may need. One house was considered a mansion that could sleep up to 15 people. I absolutely loved that job!! It just became too much for me being one person so they had to hire a company. If you have any questions from my perspective, just ask! (Asa, I am the MR DUCKS MR NOT OSAR CM WANGS LIB MR DUCKS 'friend' 😉)

Along with the "extras" closet where you have the pack n play, pillows, etc, I also had Air Mattresses that seemed to get used ALOT!!!! Even though there were enough beds to sleep 15 people, they got used more than you would think.

I couldn't believe that someone else knew that silly poem that I have been doing since I was little 40+ years or so, so i had commented to you with the whole poem. I am not a 'friend", I was just trying to trigger your memory as to who I am. Sorry to confuse you. (I say the poem so good as if two people are talking and I put a good southern twang to it as well.
