Hiya Chris, is it a specific kind of brush i should use for lining? Thanks for the info on how to do lining by the way. Ive been needing to practice this.

Honestly you can do lining with any brush it depends on the line thickness you want. I usually make sure it’s got longer bristles and it has a good point to it.

I'm curious... what size needle was in your detail brush and what air pressure did you use? And... that blue painters tape... you must have some better stuff than I do! I have had to quit using that because every time, no matter how careful I tried to be, it would pull some of the paint off - even after I'd put on a clear coat and let that dry for a week! The needle was a .38 and my pressure was about 25psi. The key to masking it I make sure the tamiya tape is firmly on the model then I only make sure the blue painters tape is firmly on the other tape. I don’t press hard where it’s just on the painted parts. So if you look it’s kinda flapped on the ends and not attached. It’s more of a shield for the overspray.

Did you seal the model after you sprayed the base coat?

Yeah I typically use a matte clear coat to protect it.

Bought a lil 40 dollar battery powered airbrush to learn with. Works VERY well especially for a starter. Thanks for this video...helped me out alot bud! Love your videos...very good tips and pointers. You do awesome work my man!
