I’m using the gravity fed option just now after a knee replacement. I would most definitely say the powered option would be better. The gravity one doesn’t stay cold very long in the cuff. It’s a bit of a faff due to mobility, to keep emptying and refilling every few mins, so automatic empty and refill by means of a pump, would be so much better IMO. Other than that, the cold water on my knee is such a relief.
