FWIW, I'm pretty sure that "Kate" is a replica made from parts of a T-6 Texan and a Vultee BT-13. There are no flying Kates in existance.

You are absolutely right about it (the green one) being a replica. It’s part of the Prowlers of the Pacific AirShow Act. This is a quote from warbirdsnews.com: “The aircraft flying in the airshow is actually a replica, built in 1969 for the Movie Tora! Tora! Tora! by combining the airframe of a North American SNJ-4 with the tail section of a Vultee BT-13.”

@@theAirQuiz I believe I saw that or a replica exactly like it at my local CAF museum. It's a pretty amazing job. It was parked right next to a T-6, but was so much bigger.
