Your detailing work is wonderful to see. Very nice steps to a master model. This will probably be the best Kathy version in circulation. Absolut a great job, Steve. Please note. The normal GB time ends today and Markus and I will start to organize the photos into the GB and prepare the final compilation video. It would be nice if you could send us some photos of your contribution by the 10th of March that we can include. There can also be a few photos of a not completely finished Kathy. Best wishes and a nice rest of this sunday, Steve. Greetings, Joachim

Hi Joachim. I searched all over the internet for a similar conversion but couldnt find one. I hope this can be used as a base model for others to come along and improve upon. Its been a very enjoyable project but I am glad I am onto the painting stage now. Many thanks for your kind words. Take care my friend and have a great week.

A really great job on this Steve. I had to smile at the bonnet vent error. Shows that even with your skills c**k-ups happen😀 Those sand mats came out well. The RP guillotine is an excellent tool. I don't use mine that often but when needed it's a Godsend. The rolled canopy was well done. That Green Stuff is so useful. Paint next 👍

Hi Jim. Hope you are having a nice weekend. The guillotine is so handy for bulk cuts that need to be all at the same length. The paint job is going well but taking a lot longer than expected. Mojo is rock bottom at the moment and I am struggling to motivate myself to model. It comes and goes and I am sure I will get this project over the line sometime. Take care my friend and speak soon

Hi Steve, Great video. I think you have every detail covered. I will be looking forward to the painting. I had a thought about a diorama for you. Since this is a movie used vehicle, you could do a behind the scenes type diorama. Have a movie camera, and a couple of big lights and a few crew. just like they were about to film a scene. Just a thought. Thanks for sharing. Have a great day my friend. Jeff
@SteveJonesScaleModellingSite7 ай бұрын
Hi Jeff. Well I will let you into a little secret. I am painting her Black and White. So that would be an excellent diorama to do. Sadly though I am no base/diorama maker. I tried it a few years back and failed miserably. Also once I finish a model I am always keen to start another LOL. I really appreciate your comments my friend and many thanks for looking in

Excellent stuff. I quite enjoyed that. Fun fact about the bar scene in the end of the movie. They didn’t have anything non alcoholic to resemble the beer. So Sir John proposed to use real beer, as he actually quite liked the stuff. He just didn’t take into account that the scene required many takes. Meaning that after a day of shooting they were totally hammered.

He was indeed. The film has gone down in folklore and there are many stories like that. This was one of the reasons for putting the behind the scenes photos on the video. There is so much more to the film. Great to hear from you my friend and many thanks for looking in. Have a great week and speak soon

@@SteveJonesScaleModellingSite My pleasure, Steve. I think you’ve done a cracking job on the build. @@SteveJonesScaleModellingSite Correct! I wonder if there are any models of those cars available. One was a 1905 Spyker 12/16-HP Double Phæton, the other was a"Darracq, of the two-cylinder 10/12 HP type, built in Paris in 1904," so probably not. :(
