Corgi made some classic models back in the day, I remember getting the Batmobile for Christmas! Look forward to seeing more of the Mosquito Mr Q👍👍

@@anthonypayne1 Ah, yes. If you have it still, its worth a mint.. The matte black version is the most desirable one... Thanks Anthony...

This line made me laugh... "I'm just an ordinary guy in a shed." Glad to hear you are enjoying the model hobby plus your other bits. Have a great week Chris!

You’re way more than a normal guy in a shed, you’re a bloody legend! I don’t think my eyes would be able to handle such close up intricate precise work! I just manage swinging around heavy weight! I had a version of that car!!!! Man I wish I looked after it and still had it! I’m enjoying these nostalgia videos so much!!! I can’t believe how many of those cars sold!! Cap guns were the absolute best by the way! 😂😂😂

Thanks, Stu, I do struggle with it, but it is quite fun to do, even at my level... I got another car today and a real epic coming too, but I am still frustrated at not getting out with my new camera, but I will try again... Thanks mate...

@@MrQuintonia Well I think you're great at it! Can't wait to see what the epic reveal is? Don't worry about getting outside, that semi retirement will put pay to that, you'll have time coming out of your ears!! Where is this computer tour at too?
@MrQuintonia3 ай бұрын
@@stuvlog OK, I'll try and do the computer too, lol... Yep, counting the days now to going to a three day week... :)

My brother got the Corgi DB5 for his birthday from my parents, in the 60's. I was soooo jealous. They re-released it a few years back. I thought, hey, I'm approaching 60, and I'm not getting any younger. And I'm an adult and I can get anything I want. So I bought one. I posted it online, and commented, there now I have one to. He laughed. He had no idea I had been harboring so much resentment for him for so many years. Hahahaha

Great story, mate. Thanks for sharing it. I never got one until now, 56 years later, but I was just as excited about owning one. Better late than never, I thought. Can't wait to get my next one which is coming any day, it's another one I dreamed about but never got... ;)

We all loved cap guns as a kid. Bang, Bang! A good start on the Airfix. That Bond car is ace. And what an interesting little Corgi book. Yea keep them coming. Looking forward to your next car.

Great vid, as a 1954 vintage I could relate to a lot you said. Glad your a Brit because you said Aston unlike most yanks who say Austin Martin, but they don't speak English anyway. Nice and brief and a great watch, thanks.
@MrQuintonia3 ай бұрын
@@sand8able Thank you for the watch... Yes, the yanks do have their own version of English, lol.. I find myself retreating more into my past memories these days as a way of getting away from this crazy world I now find myself in, and bringing some of it into the shed makes me happy, if you know what I mean.. 😉😉

Can't beat listening to a bloke in his shed..Look forward to your build, at the end of the day it doesn't matter what it ends up looking like, so long as you enjoyed the build. Nice Corgi too..Subbed

Cheers mate, yeah I'm thinking that too, shed life is the only way I can keep my sanity these days... 😉 Thanks for the sub... 😊

we used to play war with cap guns and Snappers !! remember them ? as kids we used to buy loads of them to make one big bang for some reason we failed every time cos our teacher used to confiscate them !! we never learned 🤣

@@stuartellis2006 LOL, yeah I remember them, also the rocket you would throw up and then it would come down and bang!! All great fun toys we use to have back in the day. Cheers for watching... 👍👍

Don't use the glue in that tiny shed. You'll see rainbow dragons, get peckish and start eating crayons.
