Well done!! Both entertaining and informative. Thanks for doing all the extra pellet testing legwork (I know its not very fun to do) I think your video may have unwittingly released the gates of bug busting hell as there will be droves of viewers who will be outside in the morning with a full tin of pellets, paper and honey ready for battle following your lead. Big yellow grasshoppers at 200 meters; bait is a leaf of lettuce. (22 lr). Can't wait for warm weather to get back, I will have a .45 of .50 (makes some .510 round balls please). next year.

Great review of the A-F Condor SS! Thank you very much! Paul, have you heard anything about A-F airguns having a "barrel twist" problem? I am seriously considering the .25 Talon SS with modified valve and longer barrel (maybe 18") or the Condor SS and just leave it factory stock...as far as any tuning goes; as it appears to be just fine right out of the box. Respectfully, agw.

Paul: I appreciate your reviews. They cover almost everything I'm looking for. I would like to know if you can get some numbers on the AirForce Condor SS in .177 and .22. I'm looking for the lowest pellet speeds in these two calibers. I understand for accuracy you want to keep the pellet below 1100 FPS but I can't find any numbers on the lowest speeds based on moving the wheel. I did see one video on a set screw on the air tank that you can adjust to reduce the air pressure. If you can either post the numbers or point me in a direction I would appreciate it. I current own a Walther LGV .177 and I'm looking for a PCP. I tried the Marauder .22 but had to send it back. It wasn't accurate in my opinion. Thanks for your help. Scott

Hi Paul, I really like the Condor SS a lot, but I hear so many differing opinions about how loud it is. You said that it's very, very quiet, yet the Pyramyd Air website says that the loudness is a 4-medium-high, which is pretty loud. Do you really think it's quiet? Did you get a production model from Airforce that was quieter than the Condor SS a consumer might buy? How does it compare in loudness to the Marauder .22 and the Hatsan AT44-10 Long QE .22? I own the Airforce Condor SS.25 and it's pretty quiet out of the box. All I hear is the hammer and a little puff at my ear when shooting. If you want your gun as quiet as can be Donny FL makes and sells very good suppressors and adapters. Mine is set up with his shogun model. Its literary the hammer hitting the valve and impact of the pellet hitting a target. The combination of power, accuracy and stealthy quietness from my setup makes it the ultimate pest and medium-sized game hunter.

In this Episode #116, you use a special TRIPOD with a rifle rack attached to it. You talked about this tripod before. but I haven;t found that episode. I am handicapped and use a power chair to move in. This tripod looks like exactly what I need. Can you PLEASE give me more infor on this.

another great video paul, it was almost like a mini version of an old am airgunner episode. It's ok, but I'm not a huge fan of the new am airgunner episodes, even though I do like the guys involved with it. I really liked your older am airgunner shows. You should do more extended episodes of airgun reporter like this, focusing on all the classic high quality airguns that we all love. Like you, I too am a big softy for the rws rifles. I saw your older rws reviews. but it would be great to see some newer episodes of agr on some rws rifle in the near future.. maybe the 350 mag, or model 34.

It's a great gun that is easy to shoot, easy to work on and will last a lifetime. I'm not sure I know of anyone personally whose regretted buying a 48.

They are nice but mine seems to kill scopes. For instance, hitting a golf ball at 60 ish yards a few times in a row to 10 inch groups after the scope is dead.

I just received my condor SS 25 caliber and it would not except air it would leak at every pump! Highly disappointed! Called Airforce immediately and they are sending a replacement quick release valve. Apparently there’s no product checklist. The quick release and the pressure gauge was on opposite sides of the tank. I have a Airforce escape which is a fine PCP rifle with no issues. I must’ve got a Monday or Friday rifle when I came to production.

I want to try to make the homemade Ballistic Gel. How would I?

Just add 3 or 4 packages (four makes it very dense) of powdered unflavored gelatin per cup of HOT (not boiling) water into a rectangular plastic food container. Add the powder very slowly to prevent lumps and continue stirring until dissolved. Let it set overnight in the refrigerator, at least 8 hours. Use it within 48 hours or it begins to get moldy.

you can fill it with a pump, but it is not fun. if you want to pump, get an escape. big power. small tank, less pumping
