Hi I genuinely want this modification on my Regal, could you let me know the full costings please

The regulator needs contact with atmospheric pressure.

I have a classic...want to install a huma...why have you not reinstalled the two removed o rings
@AirgunRegulator4 жыл бұрын
The 2 o-rings must be removed, as this creates a supply of atmospheric pressure to the regulator, which is necessary for its proper function. We were the first in the world to come up with this idea almost 10 years ago, and other regulator manufacturers ( including Huma ) began to copy our idea.

HI; was that regulator set to 150 bar? trying to figure out why you put air half way into the yellow area. just trying to understand what's going on or how that works. i will be putting an Altaros regulator in my Daystate huntsman regal. Need to know as much as possible thanks
@AirgunRegulator3 жыл бұрын
The regulator is sent set according to the required power or output pressure. It can be set as standard from 100 to 150 (170bar)
@roberttheriot76122 жыл бұрын
@@AirgunRegulator so if my regulator comes set @ 130 bar i pressure it up to 130 psi. this is what i am trying to understand. because right now is pressure it up to 3000 or 3200 psi without reg. thank you for your help
@AirgunRegulator2 жыл бұрын
@@roberttheriot7612 I'm not entirely sure what you're asking. The conversion between bar and PSI is 1bar = 14.5 PSI. 3000 PSI is therefore about 207bar. The maximum outlet pressure from the regulator is about 190bar, but rather 175bar
@roberttheriot76122 жыл бұрын
@@AirgunRegulator i guess what i am trying to get at is if it comes set at 130 bar i would multiply 130 x 14.5 = 1885 psi if am correct. is it possible to put more air in the cylinder if the regulator is set @ 130 or do i set regulator to 170 bar where ever that maybe and fill to 2465 psi and that would be max. my regulator i think is 150 max. i guess in other words whatever your regulator is set @ say 130 bar you shouldn't put more than 1885 psi or it will mess up air rifle . also where is the 170 bar thank you very much
@AirgunRegulator2 жыл бұрын
@@roberttheriot7612 You have the conversion to PSI correctly, but I don't think you understand exactly the function of regulator. The outlet pressure is set to any value in the range, but the airtube as such is always filled to the maximum pressure specified by the rifle manufacturer. In this case, it is necessary to fill the airtube according to the external manometer on the bottle. It is possible to shoot until the pressure on the manometer on the rifle begins to drop. At this point, it is necessary to refill the airtube at full pressure.

Why you took the grub screws all the way out
@roberttheriot76122 жыл бұрын
just finished installing altaros reg. seems like i couldn't fill to where i use to which is 3000 psi also it sounds really weak. hand pump was really hard to pump at about1500 psi. i thought you had told me that i could put what the manufacture required. so i tried and like i said earlier it was pretty hard to pump. you think i should try some more pumping. please let me know thanks
@AirgunRegulator2 жыл бұрын
the regulator does not apply the maximum filling pressure in any way. When filling a rifle, there can be no difference between filling a regulated and unregulated rifle. The only essential thing I have already written is that it must be filled according to the external manometer in this case on the pump, NOT according to the manometer on the rifle, which no longer shows the pressure in the airtube.

@@AirgunRegulator thank you thank you and thank you again i think i am finally catching on. i know i'm a little slow at learning but thank you for your patients. my daystate was shooting around 875 fps before i installed the reg. and now it's shooting about 775. is that normal? i also turned in my hammer spring 2 full turns to see if it would do anything---not a thing different. you think if i take out the reg. and set it to 140 bar that it will shoot to a higher fps? thank you again

what stop the just coming out all the time and empty the cylinder,and what improvements will this give to my huntsman regal please
@AirgunRegulator5 жыл бұрын
I'm not quite sure what you're asking. The air is launch by turning the manometer and then retightening the manometer to prevent leakage. The improvement after installing the regulator concerns the consistency of the muzzle velocity. The results are here at the bottom of the page. The smaller muzzle velocity change, the more accurate the rifle: www.altaros.cz/en/daystate/12-4771-daystate-airgun-regulator.html#/62-awpdetails-

Why the two O rings have nit been reinstalled in their original place please?
@AirgunRegulator4 жыл бұрын
Removal of the original o-rings is therefore done for creates a supply of atmospheric pressure to the regulator spring.

Hi, I've done this with my huntsman regal xl using a Lancet regulator. Shot count has improved slightly but surprised at the drop in power, down to 25'Lb from 28'Lb! Tried everything to give higher power. I'm told that these guns are capable of up to 40'Lb. Obviously the hammer is a heavier version to the sub12'Lb, but is there difference between the 28'Lb and 40'Lb? Perhaps a heavier valve spring and hammer or any work yo the transfer port etc? TIA!
@roberttheriot76122 жыл бұрын
did you happen to figure your air gun out with ft.lbs. of energy. i'm in the same boat as you but maybe worse. i went from 30 ft.lbs. with no reg. to 21 ft. lbs. with altaros reg. very disappointed. even reset reg. to 150 bar from 125 bar and it barely sped up fps. if you happen to find out anything; would you mind helping me out. thanks

what is the difference between this regulator and the other which was installed through the front side? and can I install the quick fill kit with this regulator?

The difference is that this version has a connection with the atmospphere throught the thread at tle plug. Yes with bouth version you can used a quick fill.

Will this regulator work with the Huntsman Regal XL tube? If not, do you make one for that model? Thanks
@AirgunRegulator6 жыл бұрын
If the airtube is one piece together with the lower body of the rifle, then this regulator can not be used. If it has a screwed airtube as here on the video, it should be possible to use this regulator.

Video title states huntsman regal.........but that's a classic you're working on.......is installation that easy as I've read comments elsewhere stating drilling the cylinder and transfer port........
@AirgunRegulator6 жыл бұрын
This nomenclature differs from the Web site. There is a classic name on the rifle, but elsewhere it was presented as a regal. The key is whether your rifle has a split airtube or is an airtube and a body from one tube. Accordingly, it is possible to solve it that regulator can by used. This regulator can by used only form split airtube. At none of our regulator does not need drill hole in to airutbe and airgun it is always possible to return to its original state!
@Igotknobblies4 жыл бұрын
No drilling required as the reg vents to atmosphere as required through the threads (hence removing the two original o ring seals). There is a chance that overtightening the reservoir could actually seal the end of the tube. A tiny score on the block with the male thread will ensure this doesn't happen. Clearance in the thread is such that enough air movement will ocurr.
