why does the regulator have to be connected to the atmosphere? Im not quite understanding that part

The regulator type that needs to have an atmosphere connection uses atmospheric pressure as a reference value if it does not connect with the atmosphere, then over time could change the output pressure.

the pressure gauge on the rifle will show only regulated pressure, as it is located behind the regulator, where there is only regulated pressure. When filling, it is therefore necessary to use a bottle with its own pressure gauge or quick fill on the front part of the airtube, where the pressure gauge will also be.

Hi, I bought one of your regulators, it just arrived in Mexico, it's for a hatsan flashpup 5.5 magnetic tank, I can adjust the power to 165 or 170 bar, for any of these cases, what would be the position of the indicator on the regulator? requires or can be made this setting...

the most appropriate is to write directly to our email, where technical support is dealt with. For this pressure, the regulator must first be set to the 150bar position and then turn it counter-clockwise to the letter R (in the inscription BAR )

we only make one size, around 12cc. For rifles of this concept in this caliber, it makes no sense to make it bigger (the power increase is minimal) and conversely, the decrease in airtube volume is essential.

@@AirgunRegulator I am at 36 foot pounds unregulated right now. If I was to install this regulator where would my feet per energy be if I set the Reg high? I would like to put a regulator in my flash pup obviously for a better shotcount. I just don't want to sacrifice too much power

@@richardsaunders7569 with this performance, I don't think there should be a big power drop, the basis is to find out at what pressure you achieve maximum power and adjust the regulator accordingly this. Of course, if it were necessary to set the regulator to more than 150 bar output pressure, this significantly limits the consistent shot count.

why is it important to leave a gap between air tube and body ? what happen if we don't ?

the gap allows the supply of atmospheric pressure to the regulator springs. Without a gap regulator it will not work properly .
