This short broke the Hellaverse. Implying Mexican souls speak Spanish and so all sins and demons so far have been speaking English in hell. In some sense this makes sense considering how hellhounds use the b word which only works in a language where the word has both meanings. However it doesn't make logical sense unless British and Americans end up in hell far more often. Though now that i consider it, it would make perfect sense that dead Brits and Americans refused to learn Hells native language and so Hell had to learn English. XD But that does now introduce the question where are all the other souls if all the ones we see are just the English speaking mortals? Anyway, yeah. Vivi kind of accidentally whitewashed hell apparently. Before we just assumed all souls speak a universal language or is magically translated.

It just means that we've been focusing on characters that speak English, which makes sense since the intended primary audience speaks English. This is just the standard way to handle language in a supernatural/fantasy/sci-fi setting, has been for decades. Whatever creature is in the main cast can speak the language of the intended audience, unless the author needs them to speak something else for plot or comedy reasons.
