Okay, so the Venn Diagram of people who react to Helluva Boss who are also familiar with Magical Girls is surprising not that much...I have not seen a reactor YET who recognized the amulet as standard, off brand, magical girl design. Guess working retail I took it for granted people would recognize a five pointed (common) star in a circle with little wings as your basic magical girl stuff, its a fairy wand with wings and a circle so you can find things like it in the girl toy aisles and sections, especially if you go to the cheap toys areas. Some of the big magical girls have more elaborate or iconic for them designs, but go to the more generic more short run series and this star with wings starts to crop up fairly often. Also noticing discussions about pentacle vs pentagram based on which way the star is facing and... so if you draw a circle with a five pointed star on the floor...then the demon just has to walk to the other side so the star is rightside up to it instead of upside down then it can just walk in? yeah, pretty sure you need more to it than which way the star is facing, like other symbols and words. that said, In universe its more likely the angels just enchant holy themed or "good" themed merch as a way to provide general protection against lesser demons that come up to the Earth, now just picturing the Exorcists in a factory in Heaven transporting this stuff from their Earthly factories, adding genuine protection, and then sending back as assembly lines.
