Many of the retired 501st essentially became stormtrooper drill-instructors and taught them combat techniques and whatnot. Scorch from Republic Commando became one. Also, with many of the 501st, they ended up being one of the first phases of Darktroopers to parallel Vader and all his cybernetics. The experiments were horrific though, and Vader ended up discontinuing the program. In 'The Mandalorian', they revealed that Moff Gideon ended up restarting the Darktrooper Program and made Phase 2 Darktroopers which are primarily droids without the organics involved. The reason why 501st were prioritized for Darktroopers was their inhibitor chip allowing them to more easily sync-up with the Darktrooper cybernetics. Fun little bit of nightmare fuel when you realize that's where the problem began- the extremely-painful and traumatic cybernetic rejections scared the mainly-cybernetic Vader to the degree that he as a _Sith Lord_ was like, "naw bro, this is a bit extreme and inhumane- even for me." Edit: If I remember right, they put Commander Cody through the Darktrooper Program.

Ok, the reason why they called the first parody “Blue Harvest” was 1. That was the dummy name for Return of the Jedi and 2. Seth thought he was only going to make SW but it like he said in the opening crawl of “It’s a Trap”, it was such a hit that Fox wanted him to make all three. The two gags with Leslie Nielsen and 3PO saying “And Leia’s getting larrrrger”, are from an old late 70s movie called Airplane, hilarious movie, I highly recommend it

I’ve genuinely never seen a bunch of men who fit the description of “mega virgin nerds” in my entire life and I’m all for watching these losers continue to react. 100% subscribed.

For any viewers who don't know: Seth Green is the voice actor for Chris Griffin (Luke) and Neil Goldman (Lando). Seth is also the co-creator and co-producer of Robot Chicken. Some of the "is"s may now be "was"s, but I'm not going to research that timing for a simple post. The two are friends.

Fun side: In The German dub we had our VA for Hamill as the VA for Quagmire, which gave things an interesting note LOL

What i always think is funny, Is the guy who voices Klaus, the fish parodying Ackbar, is Dee Bradley Baker who voiced the clones in the clone wars tv show.

That couch thing in the garbage compactor room is so true. Especially for pullout sofa beds. Just unscrew the legs, pull out the mattress, remove anything else that just sits on there and it'll be SO MUCH simpler. I've moved too many god damn couches for anyone to ask me to do it their way. I tell em we do it my way or get fucked.

38:26 - 38:37 That MIDGET inside R2 was Kenny Baker. And yes, he did play as the droid for the most parts of the original films.
