Me too if I spray that slow I will have massive paint runs and sags. So I have to paint like a meter away and over spray everywhere

Your paint is to thin, or tip size is to big try 513 or 511

This can also be due to the type of paint. You can get certain 'sag' resistant paint

Yes you can, just requires turps for cleanup instead of water. A smaller tip size is recommended also.

517 is the most commonly used size for walls and ceilings. If you are new to spraying, a 515 or even 413 might be a bit easier to manage however.
