Hello, Manish. Assuming you mean the hose keeps coming out, I could only suggest that the fittings have worn or have been damaged. Your best option would be to replace the fittings first (as they're cheaper) and if the problem persists, replace the hose as a whole. Hope this helps :)

Hi there, unfortunately, they do not. A hi-flow requires a female hi-flow coupling and vise versa for the PCL

Hi. I bought my first air compressor and is a 12 gallon air compressor. Is it okay to depressurize the air tank receiver by using the safety relief valve by pulling the ring? I just tried a little from a distance and heard a loud sound of air for a second and it kinda scared me. Is it a dangerous procedure to pull the ring on the safety relief valve to depressurize the air tank?

You could release air via the pressure relief valve but the reservoir should have a water drain valve which would be more practical.

I’ve heard that new standards recently passed in the EU which no longer allow new compressors to be sold with that ring. This is due to the belief that safety devices should not allow for intervention by any user. I will no longer be using it to depressurise my compressor and will instead use the drain plug at the bottom of the reservoir.

Hi. Could I get some advice? Just bought a compressor with that euro fitting at the compressor and will be getting an airline like yours at 1/4”. But my airbrush intake is 1/8” so does that mean I have to find an adapter with a male euro end with a screw 1/8” thread? Quite confused but would that be correct?

Jasper, you are correct you need a Euro Male Fitting to a 1/8" thread to suit your airbrush.

I hate to say so but I agree that it was not easy to find the Uni Flow part mentioned in the video. I looked at compressor menu/accessories etc etc and still could not find them.. even the search didn't come up with any results!

Unfortunately since the release of this video in 2014 we have tried to further deepen our expertise in just stapling & nailing, putting airline fitments on the back foot. Not unless you use a very good dry filter...compressors use air that contain moisture, Precharged air rifles use a dry compressed air that is usually supplied from diving bottles that are filled with " dry breathing "air. If you use normal air you will rust the inside of your rifle reservoir and eventually cause it to fail. Not something you want happening with pressurised air.

Thanks, Tony. We do typically recommend Uni Hi-Flow - not because of rust issues, but more so due to the increased airflow. I cannot say that we've ever received any rusting complaints although we will take this comment on board and research as appropriate :)

@@Knightlore10 Yes Uni-Flow, Hi-Flow, Euro connector is banded around but the same type. 1/4 BSP is the thread size and most common for the majority of compressors and tools but other thread sizes can be obtained.

@@mytoolkitonline Yes, I had not realised that the 1/4" BSP is only the thread size. I bought a compressor with a euro quick connector and my air line has a PCL connector. Hopefully the adapter I just ordered will be correct and enable me to make the connection. By the way, I looked on your website for the 5m clear hose but you stopped selling it?

Was hoping this would properly explain the different type of connectors. He just waved them around a bit (too small to see) before moving onto other subjects at 1min 24. This subject is a total minefield.

Hi, we can certainly agree that it's a minefield and one that is rather difficult to explain concisely. In our industry, the main fittings are PCL & Hi-flow and as such, those are the 2 we're most familiar with. Having said that, we do have this topic noted down as one to re-cover in a later video!
