Hi...I also have the Mini 4 Pro. But....If I try to download the LightCut App from the Dji App Store and select my Operating System.. This Messages pops up "ONLY SUPPORTED FOR DOWNLOAD ON PHONES". Are you using a Phone for LightCut?? I want to use my Samsung Galaxy 2023 model and it won't start the DownLoad? Please tell me if your using a Phone or another device to work with LightCut... Thank you.. Ron

Hi ....I have the DJI Mini 4 Pro. I wanted to use LightCut on my new 2023 version for Samsung Galaxy A9+.. Are you using the LightCut App on your Phone?? I wanted to use my Galaxy Pad to install the App. But ...this Message Pops up and will not start the Download process: ONLY SUPPORTED FOR DOWNLOAD ON PHONES.. I was just wondering what you folks are doing to install the App on other than a Phone.. Thank you Ron in Maine

Nice video, i've been using LightCut for a while and it's very easy and do quick editing especially for DJI devices like drones, and the better thing is you can edit directly even not download the files when connecting, very good to do videos for social media, I like it, and app is clean and free

Nope they aren't copyright free. The licence is owned by DJI. So, they can't be monetized.

Really cool! I've done many travelling, GoPro, music and wonderful drone aerial video creations since a few years on my MacBook Pro with my Final Cut Pro and iMovie apps! Longer process! I've done many nice 4K video creations on my Final Cut Pro which is amazing! However last November I found out about DJIs IOS LightCut! app! I recently also did a few really nice Lightcut video creations on my iPhone 13 and 15 Pro Max as well as on my iPad Pro! Wow! Yes it's really a much quicker and convenient way to create wonderful video creations I've done many with my GoPro, iPhone, and also with my Mini 3 Pro and Mavic 3 drones screen recordings and my drones internal 4K ones! Love it! It's really good! I'm excited about getting the upcoming Avata 2 FPV drone to develope exciting FPV videos as well! I know that i will have to practice the proper FPV flying techniques to avoid crashing it! Immersive Googles! can,t wait!

Does anyone know what kind of upload/download speeds are needed to use this?? I had no issues with 5G when I was in Philadelphia but my home wifi is only 100mgbs, where I don't have great cell service does not seem to be fast enough to view and edit photos or videos at all

LightCut seems great, but I cannot figure out how to extract audio from a clip that already has audio in it.

Hi Shawn..... Can you Help Me with this Issue on DJI's App. For LightCut. When I found the App at the DJI App Store, It Says " ONLY SUPPORTED FOR DOWNLOAD ON PHONES". and does not matter which Operating system you Choose. I just purchased a new 2023 Samsung Galaxy 11 inch to install the LightCut App. It will not go to the actual Download the App. How did you get the LightCut App to be installed on your Ipad.?? Hello folks, I have a 7th gen iPad. I do like using it in landscape mode as I have a small keyboard etc. When I open Lightcut it's in Portrait Mode. I can't seem to figure out how to change it to Landscape. Any ideas?? Thanks in advance

I have been struggling to learn and remember where everything is in Davinci Resolve so it seem like a no brainer to get LightCut. Have you, or do you plan to do a complete tutorial for LightCut? I assume you can cut or move clips around to try to make a logical story.

Can LightCut add your voice overs captured in the screen record mode? I got the DJI Mic2 and it appears LightCut doesn't have the ability to do this. And yes its a PIA to have to transfer the file physically on the darn SD card....

The trouble is that it initially matches the clip cuts to the music. If you change the music, those cuts no longer match up, so you lose that cinematic feel.

LumaFusion and this editor are really designed for different purposes. I use both I use this app mainly if I just want to create little clips for social media quickly and easily. LumaFusion is more of a timeline editor that has more advanced features for a certain scenarios. But it is not free unlike lightcut
