For those who are wondering 3/8s inch of ar500 is good enough to stop all conventional ammunition 308 ap and .50solid core ap now im not sure about a slap round but i know anything short of a 14.5mm or 20mm aint doing it and all it would take to stop that is a half inch of ar500 id more woried a out the gun used on the turrets getting shot before the turret goes down

Thanks for pointing that out. You can use up to 1" AR500 it just costs more and slows the rotation down a bit.

Class IV body armor is ceramic plate. AR500 is tempered steel. You couldn't wear a quarter inch plate front and back and be able to move around. 10-30rnd 5.56 pmags and 2 - ¼" thick Plates, rifle and pistol your over 45lbs with no backpack or batteries.

As a mechatronics engineer, i wish you luck. 30k is steep. You would save weight by angling that armor. You should also consider a centrally mounted airsoft gun. Recoil is going to throw off next shot unless you counteract that force by firing the second airsoft gun. Not to mention each shot digging into the x-axis motor. I recommend taking a look at how the BTR-80a and BTR-82 mounted their cannons for ideas. Same situation you'll run into. Might as well armor the mag too, one shot there and all the BBs come out. Csnt have that.

This may be my mew favorite thing!! I’d imagine I could never afford one but still pretty damn cool. Need to figure out a way to make them go left/right as well as up/down and that’ll be a force. Whats crazy is that these can be manually used or hooked up to scarey software that has to be really good. Imagine you have no choice but to turn them on autonomous mode. Thats gonna be so hard to get past. These could be placed on roads and autonomous checkpoints with license plate readers

Years ago I had the idea to make one of these that was controlled by a VR headset and had a camera behind the sight of 2 AR's mounted side by side with beta mags. You've got a live feed in the headset and the turrets would point wherever you looked. 1 motor for up down, one motor for left right, two motors with a cam on then for the triggers. The trigger motors would have four different speeds to simulate the sound of four different rifles firing.

Four cameras. Armored cameras facing backwards turret can be flipped around easily. Remote observation. A drone or other sentries can direct fire. It role is to put up enough of a fight to act as a sentry, meaning raise the alarm.

First one, if its the fastest it should be suitable for point defense, and potentially even mid range with a 5.56, slanted armour will deflect instead of needing to stop bullets in their tracs, which will make it stop more damage than it would normally be able to, amd the base can be plamted solidly in bricks of somesutch which will afford it some extra durability. Figure out your overlapping fields of fire, set it all up properly, presto. Work perfectly. Unless someone uses long range precision weapons to remove them from play before moving in. But then youd be screwed anyway, so I wouldn't worry.

You could legally equipd them with big bore pcp airguns like the 400ftlb 457 semi auto aea s45, the full auto 100ftlb 25cal rattler, a 3000ftlb 72cal aea zuess, a semi auto 350ftlb 357cal rattler bullpup, the aea s45 nitro with 357sabot slugs hitting 1400fps with 95grain slugs or hell even the huben gk1 25cal pistol is semi auto 17round capacity and 100ftlb o energy. All thse guns have no recoil and no flas or smoke and theyre silent with a suppresor and no ffl required anyone can buy them if theyre over 18 its shipped right to your home no license or taxes needed for full autos or suppresors and the ammo is like 1/100 as expensibe as a firearm equivilant. All in a package as powerfull and capable as a firearm. Even in states like california you can conceal carry and use these airgun and have them in the csr unlike a firearm. Because thyre not classified as firearms and instead fall under the same classification as airsoft and bbguns means all the prohibition around what you can and cant do with a firearm doesent apply.

You can also buy or make explosive slugs for airguns no regulations like firearm ammo. You should see it man u hollow out a 50grain 25cal slug stuff it full of boom juice and let it dry and when it hits a soft target itll explode inside of them and because theres enoigh boom boom in the slug and the walls are made out of soft lead the whole slug rips apart into shrapnell it takes that gk1 100ftlb 25cal from having a 22lr wound track to something more like 380acp. Im sure you could imagine the levels of damage boom boom bullets do when made put of 280graij 457slugs or 900grain 72cal slugs. Talk about anti material rifles

I know radar would probably be too much but a high def 360 dome camera with individual targeting cameras for each saiga 12 might work with the right software! Put one of these on an autonomous off road atv that can refuel itself by pulling up to a little outdoor tank that has a pump that uses the front or back atv wheels themselves to pump the gas so the gas stations in the forest wont need any electricity, just an autonomous atv pulls up and bumps into the crane nozzle that pushes into the self sealing gas tank funnel, it pumps gas into it with wheel oump or juat by backing up and forward , we will have a simple system.for refueling. Or even use tanker autonomous atvs and have a network of these things just refueling and re arming them with humans or maybe ammo cartridges maybe doubt that. Robots can do that yet but one day we could instead nust make teally really fool p4oof ammo cartridge system for reloading
