****Just to clarify the Siri function. Both 1st & 2nd gen AirPods have Siri. The main difference is the 2nd gen you can initiate it by just saying “Hey Siri.” As opposed to the 1st gen you have to tap to initiate it. One uses the W1 chip and the other H1. You also have the option for wireless charging on both cases or the non wireless case. Been a lot of confusion in the comments. Be respectful in your comments or else they will be removed. Oh thank you for the input now i know which airpod gen i have, as it was given to me so i don't know which gen it is. It does have the "hey siri" but not on a wireless charging so i thought before i'm having the 1st gen as it dont have the wireless charging now because of this i know that i have the 2nd gen. Just to be clear, any differences with the case depend on whether you have the wireless charging case. You can buy Gen 2 AirPods with the Gen 1 case

@@aliamartens3436 yo you can go to Bluetooth and press the I for info, and check the build number. If it starts with A2, it’s gen 2 but if it starts with A1 it’s gen 1. I got the gen 1 case so on the case it starts with A1 but the actual AirPods are A2

what do you mean with "more than 24 hours with case"? edit: okay so it means that if the case itself is charged 100% it can go for 24 hours. So if you put your AirPods in the case they charge from that case. So after the AirPods are empty (5 hours or so I think he said) you can still charge them in the case because that has 24 hours of "charge" in them

From my experience my 2s have greater then 5 hours of battery life, I regularly use them at work on days I’m doing preventative maintenance and I’ve had them last over seven hours into the shift to which I’ll change out the pod for the other... they’re also quite durable, they take a beating and they keep working great, I’d also like to see waterproof ones so I won’t have to worry as much when I’m riding fourwheelers

Really good details videos, But what’s difference when it comes to wireless charging? I mean they both need to be charged by the lightning cable anyways ? Wireless charging is kind of useless if you don’t have then wireless charger. The best thing about the 2G is just about the talk time and the call audio and Siri. Right ? Not sure I understand the question. But the airpods use the case for charging. The case doesn’t have to be plugged in as long as it has enough charge on it. On airpods 2 you can either use the lightning cable to charge the case or if you have wireless charging pad u can charge it that way. Hopefully that answers you question.
