Same! I got a killer deal on them, and with Amazon points, I only paid $130 for them. For that price, they are great. I do also have AirPods Pro’s so I got the best of both. They are worth that sale price, but if you are paying $200-300, they are not worth it.

I have both and I choose my Airpod Pros 95% of the time. They are so portable I can fit the entire case in the "key" pocket of my jeans. They are also faster to pair and more comfortable in my ears. Only time I use the Beats are on road trips or long flights where battery life becomes more important.

I’ve been using AirPods Pro’s for about 1 and half a year and I would definitely pick beats studio 3 over AirPods with out a doubt after a while my airpods don’t sound as great I even cleaned them and they still sound bad I’m gonna buy the studio 3s soon

Dont get the airpod pros, they update the firmware often and please please trust me. They have lost all their sound cancelling and they can get bad bugs with the mic for tons of people.

The Studio 3's actually have a talk through mode. If you press the power button once, the sound stops (for 5 seconds)and you can hear everything around you.

So i was about to ask for the beats headphones for Christmas & now i think i changed my mind. Going to ask for the AirPod pro’s for Xmas instead!! I work at a wood business & I’m outside working. Love the video. Agreed with everything except for one thing. The beats studio 3 have better noise cancelling, I know this because I have both devices. For the beats, you need your volume to be 30 - 100% for noise cancelling to work when your playing music. For the AirPods, it need to be 60 - 100% at volume. This is my opinion. So I think Beats are better at noise cancelling. Just my opinion 🤷‍♂️

Protein leather begins to break down around the 4.5 to 5 year mark. This happens no matter how well one cares for headphones that the earpads and headbands are made from this material. I have seen this happen 100% percent across all brands including these that I personally own: SkullCandy Hesh 2, Monster Diesel Vektr, Phillips, JLabs Bombora and Audio Technica ANC 27 Quietpoint ANC Headphones to name a FEW. I noticed the same pattern of small particles falling off in the earliest stages in areas of the headphone that didn't necessary have frequent contact or use. I hard confirmed this with Parrot Zik 2.0 which I have kept inside their case when not in use. I treat those headphones with the proverbial velvet gloves and this includes a weekly washing of the earpads with warm soapy water. Equally, these headphones were NEVER used outdoors, while exercising or a dusty debris filled environment. Approximately 2 months ago, I noticed that that small circular sections were starting to fall off the Headband. A couple of weeks later more of the same appeared on both earpads. The Parrots are now exactly in the Year Range I mentioned. I think if you start to pay attention and keep track; you can prove this true by your own observation over time.

I would most defidentily pick the beats over the airpods, me personally I'm not dunking my head in a pool, I don't care too much about noise cancelling, and all those other cons, I buy headphones for their sound quality so that's what I would be picking. The water resistance for airpods is unreal. My brother accidentally dropped one of his buds in ramen broth left on the dining table overnight and it wasn't until doing the dishes the next day he realized it was in the bowl. After rinsing it out and leaving it untouched for like a week, the airpods worked just fine!

I have the original beats stuidos, I think. And tbh I really enjoy the feeling and looks of some nice over ear headphones, and paired with the sound quality and battery life, I usually pick them. I do however only have my earbuds at school because they're more portable, and I need more transparency so I can hear my teachers and classmates

I've been seeing a lot of reviews of the studio 3's and they all complain about the noise cancelling feature, I don't own and never owned a noise cancelling headphones/earphones so I'm definitely no expert but they should consider the year they were launched, that also goes for the micro-usb port (2017 usb-c was was not the standard yet). But overall after I saw the reviews I know that disappointment will not come close to me hahahahah. PS: Excellent video :)

I got airpod pros and yeah the noise cancelling is good HOWEVER the noise cancelling starts to decay after a bit. It works to this day but not as good. I prefer headphones over the airpods. I use airpod pros though when I'm inside. Or working on stuff or if I wanna sleep with some noise cancelling. Beats are overall better for music, video watching etc. In my opinion.

I find the anc seems to favour things that sound like cars and engines to get through the noise cancelling if they're sudden but when it's a longer thing like a home appliance it filters it much better, same with when I'm in the gym I don't hear plates or people talking but I can just about hear the person next to me

So my airpods Gen 2 the right ear legit stopped working because no matter what I do the earbud won’t produce sound anymore, so it’s only the left one now. They are such crap tbh. I’m debating on buying the AirPod pros just because a lot of people told me it was worth it for in ear earbuds. I’m also debating if I should just go for the Sony headphones mentioned in this video, but then again I’m always going to class and I like being able to have the airpods in my pocket. Since I’m also going to be getting into music producing soon, I’m going to be buying some audio technica headphones to use for producing. So I’m unsure if I should buy headphones or earbuds for casual listening.
