Do you still use the heated hose after installing the side cover?

You can but it will not be doing anything. Best to move to regular tubing to save yourself some $

Can you soak the side cover in a pail of water for deep cleaning? I dont know what is inside the "BOX" inside the cover... Thanks

You should not have to clean the side cover other than wiping down the outside with a damp cloth.

@@CPAPmyway Thanks, after waiting for answers, I decided to take the side cover apart to KNOW what is inside that "box". its a black foam assuming "charcoal foam?" in the bottom half of that box. I wud not want that to get wet! The side cover can be taken apart and put back together very easy.. only 5 hooks to release.

No issue, but it might not do much. It will basically be a standard tube when you turn it off.

Will this cause any dryness in your nose and throat? Is there any downside of going waterless?

The only downside is possible dryness. You just have to try it to see if it works for you. I live in a dry climate and do fine without water, but for others, it makes their nose and throat too dry. Benefits: less hassle, no cleaning of water chamber, easier to travel,

I am having trouble removing the bypass . It is stacked in am afraid i might break it if i use too much force . The button is not doing the job

It should not be that hard to get off. Maybe something got jammed?

@ Yeah mby i must get professional to look at it . The upper part where the trigger is is comming off but the part at the bottom is like sealed
