Airsoft Cheaters get banned from Fightertown Paintball and Airsoft park

3 of the worst airsoft cheaters I've ever seen came to Fightertown and barely got 2 games in before they got banned.
These cheaters broke more rules than I have ever seen before they left the staging area. No barrel covers, dry firing in the staging area and so many more.
Big thanks to Fightertown Paintball and Airsoft park for keeping one of the most popular fields free of cheaters like this!

Strata is correct. The psychology at fields opens doors to behavior that is difficult to deal with reason in a civil manner at times. I reffed in the 90s at Mare Island. So the other refs were Ironmen pre split, outta control before they were kapp, iron kids before Dynasty. This was when Crandall was a partner, not sole owner. This era was the explosion of paintball. We had actual gangsters of every kind on the field. The way we maintained control over the obvious problem players was to essentially be movie cowboys. They do not want to 1 on 1 any of us bc it’ll be on. Straight up pre 2001 traumahead aggression. It’ll feel like they stepped into an mma fight bc that’ll be an option. Refs got free paint and the most play time. You’re playing local and national tournies so you get the most exposure to bad behavior when $ is on the line. We were there at the dawn of factually dangerous cheater boards and an attitude of boys will be boys. So massively more toxic just on red fields than anything that would be allowed now, anywhere. We were teaching each other how to literally blast guys like the OG Avalanche bc they won’t stop runs if you don’t try to hurt them.

Case in point. A field that used to exist here. Cheating galore. What made it worse was they were friends of the refs and the refs didn't do shit about it. Worse yet was they did come down on people for cheating and banned them. But it was always someone who complained about the refs friends. Were they actually cheating? I know most of those people, and no they probably weren't. Word spread about the BS. The field didn't even last a year before it was sold to someone else for the same use. Funny enough it was one of the refs... The BS continued and more people found out nothing had changed but the name of the field. And they shut down 6-7 months later. It's even worse than most places. I live on a rock in the middle of the Pacific. It's a tiny place. The airsoft community is even smaller. How did you not think word would spread.

@@IHeliosI I dont know if you cant comprehend what i said, but i never said THEY cheated. But from my understanding and experience with airsofters and paintballers - there are always cheaters... Airsofters will cheat by getting hit and not calling themselves out, and since there is nothing to show that they were in fact HIT, they just keep playing. In my experience guys will wear TONS of useless gear and claim "I didnt feel it" when confronted about being caught cheating. Paintballers will cheat in a similar manner but there tends to be a marking to indicate that the person was in fact hit. They lie, cut corners, and above all don’t fear repercussions nor authority. They dont seem to care if they were to rack assault charges, as I’d imagine with their hot running HPA systems and platforms they’re using they’re definitely SPOILED. Mommy and daddy definitely have a lot of money and bought them out their whole life, without ever spending time with them. My guess? A SoCal upper class neighborhood. Spoiled rich kids who treat their boredom by terrorizing others. So yeah, in a way same vibes. These are the types of individuals that keep me from wanting to allow my son to get into the sport. Many years ago, when I used to play for Team Ronin Hawaii and my brother played for the All Americans, we took a bunch of our friends for a paintball outing at a local indoor field in Baltimore. Only my brother and I had real paintball experience. All of our group are our friends and are "newbies" who wanted to have an outing together. We arranged with the field to have it as a private group. All was well. At some point, a couple of players who were walk-ons wanted to join. These were the guys kitted out in the gear and looked like they wanted to be tournament players. I was hesitant but told them that everyone was a newbie and they could play if they took it easy on the others. They hit some of the guys (and girls) a bit hard but when one of them crossed in my field of fire and I landed two center mass that broke as he dove behind a pallet - and then popped up returning fire, I lost my shit. I started yelling at them, for the ref and charging them. Told them to get the F-out and outta here. Don't know if they got banned like these guys, but I wasn't going to put up with any nonsense. These guys in the video deserve to be banned from all fields across the nation.

It's literally a power trip for them. I mean, just look at them. They're young, nerdy males, obviously not a lot of muscles, most likely outcasts at school, most likely suburban upper middle-class with mommy and daddy's credit card, and very little experience with genuine hardship or accountability. Combine all that together, and when they figure out they can buy expensive airsoft gear and roll over noobs, suddenly it makes them feel very powerful and hard. In airsoft, they don't have to be the weird loser outcasts at school that Chad stuffs in the locker, and they can pretend to be hardcore killers for once in their sad lives. Just listen to the guy who got caught "dropping" his camera. When he's suddenly shaken out of his fantasy of being a hardcore gunslinging killer and forced back to reality, his voice suddenly turns very meek and all he can say is "oh, I swear I didn't mean to drop that 😞"

As much as I'd like to agree, that wouldn't solve the issue as a I know adults who cheat every time they play and I also know 15 year olds who are more mature and enjoyable to be around than most adults. In fact, just today there was an incident when a cheater blatantly and willingly overshot a child. Me and the kid’s dad saw it. We hatched the greatest revenge plan I’ve ever seen involving my barely field legal Krytac, an “enhanced” HPA P90, and a human meatshield. Luckily (for the cheater, unlucky for us) the plan was never put into place after preparation because the guy got kicked for the day after like 10 other people also backed up our experience with their own. Nothing is more satisfying than a seeing a cheater punished. Normally we wouldn’t take such extreme measures, but the cheater gave like a solid 10 second long hose down of the kid, which at that point is borderline assault on a minor. But as I said, we never got to enact our plan.
@BadgerAirsoft17
@BadgerAirsoft17 Жыл бұрын
@@CT-9904-Crosshair no borderline about it. One field they were banned from is looking to press charges on that exact same kind of situation. It becomes straight up assault with a weapon at that point by legal definition. Glad to see you guys were looking out for your field as well!

What’s worse is that our field had a minimum engagement distance of 10 feet… this guy was obviously within that distance. The guy even had the audacity to say “he didn’t put his hand up,” and at that point me and the dad yelled at him saying that not only did he clearly know he was hit, but he also had his damn hand up! Thank goodness his rifle was within field legal limits. Our field is often criticized as players being hostile towards each other, but that’s only the guys like the cheater I described. I’ve been playing there for 5 years and if something happens, especially to a child, the entire field WILL band together to bring justice to the perpetrator. It was kind of like that video from Strikeforce Sports NY in the “kid got punched in the face” video in which everyone stopped what they were doing and went to tell the refs. From what I heard, the refs told him to leave for the day or the cops would be called. If he is allowed back in time, he’s definitely on a watch list.

So pretty much the world of airsoft is needing a go pro attachment at all times. For proof of cheaters.

We used to play here when it first opened in 2012ish? and stopped a little after high school in 2017-18. I have so many fond memories from here. Henry and his Wife always took care of every player on their field. I miss playing, fighter town had some of the most fun night games and we used to spend all weekend there in the winter. Might be time to dig my guns out from storage and go have a good time again. Thank you fighter town for so many memories me and my friends still talk about to this day.

Been here several times. The refs and owner are absolutely doing everything they can to keep their field safe, and positive for everyone there. I do believe if they got banned they absolutely did something to “earn” it. Sure it’s tough, but otherwise it’d hurt their business imo

Well considering they've been banned as well as the other group of scrubs that they play with, they haven't come back.

Is gameplay recording not allowed on this field? If so, for what reason?
@BadgerAirsoft17
@BadgerAirsoft17 Жыл бұрын
As mentioned in the video, it was strictly to keep players, these literal players, from doing what they do. Which is start recording and then full autoing and cheating. It was more a deterrent to keep them from any damage and it worked in this situation. In one part of the video they even said "let's not full auto until we can record" however they never got a chance to record so they didn't get a chance to do any real damage to the players on the field.
@BadgerAirsoft17
@BadgerAirsoft17 Жыл бұрын
As long as you play a few games to show the owner you don't want to record to cause damage to players, its no issue at all that you record
@futu2721

@@BadgerAirsoft17 So, if I understand correctly, the ban on recording is for "strangers", so as to warn against deliberately creating negative content that will discourage potential newcomers, is that right? And if yes, Is this a common situation? Never in my life in Poland (where am I from) or even in Europe have I encountered such a situation or recording
@BadgerAirsoft17
@BadgerAirsoft17 Жыл бұрын
@@futu2721 yep! Thats exactly it. The players in the video are all using cameras and will go out of their way to deliberately overshoot, injure players, and cause fights just for footage for their KZbins. They tried it at this field and were not successful

Luckily these guys didn’t hurt anyone. We had an incident in Florida with guys like that. One has a court case for overshooting someone to the point the judge said he would have gotten 10 years if he was a few months older. They honestly seem like the same group. Great video, ill sun now! I’ll check oot your gameplay footage!
