Airsofters HATE This Game Ending Infantry Tactic

Today I'll be sharing some gameplay from a surprisingly vicious Milsim West event we held last June, which was MSW: The Balkar Pocket.....but I have since referred to this event as the Balkar Bush War.
Aside from KZbin I also work full time as Milsim West cadre working all of the events, and throughout the years this particular AO (in Fern Glen PA), has grown to be one of my favorites.
I'm a big fan of the more wooded "field style" AOs, because I feel that this is where you can get the true "light infantry experience".
These types of events are not usually as violent as the urban events, but that's not always the case with this event being a perfect example of that.
The Balkar Pocket turned into an absolute death bout for 40 hours, and today I'll be going over how I helped finally broke the stalemate with a basic infantry tactic .

Nick is not lying when he says it was a fight that lasted ALL NIGHT I remember holding the main road and suddenly realizing the sun is up and birds chirping 😂. And again he’s not joking about fighting none stop all Saturday and didn’t end till the rain came at like 9pm. I was in the rear with BlueMag and some HOG guys and BJO’s squad hit us none stop. Seriously, Blue Jean thank you for making the OPFOR what it is today. When BlueMag attends an event we are only thinking of how to survive your flanks and pushes. That event was insane. Me and squad took the Russian patrol base and it felt awesome and in that moment of victory my heart sank when I came to see our CCP was lost 😆. Wondering if you will drop and video about Darial 😝

@@johnwerglum9146Yep, I remember ya'll. I was the 1-3 ATL, for whoever had showed up, and we got merged into 1-2 with HOG after two of our guys dropped Sat and it was just the SL, myself and the other TL. One hell of an event though, good shit.

First MSW I did was Balkar ridge, I think it was the second time they ever used the AO. Ruck infil, our PL got lost, ruck longer than usual and extremely vertical, we lost like 1/2 the company. Then the next day, it rained like hell, lost another quarter. We got absolutely rolled by the Russians who didn’t quit. It was fucking awesome. I love the mountain AO’s

Would love to see an MSW event based ONLY on the cold war. I mean early 1980's and to mid1990's tech and weapons and uniforms! Anything "high speed" would be for SOF units only. Woodland and western camo for western forces and warsaw pact uniforms for eastern forces! And..............GO!

6:40 I was part of a 3 man trio that was ahead of the company by atleast 100m, and you can see my white light come on for a split second before I get instantly knocked down by my teammate who had NVG's bc he apparently didn't see me. I was rawdogging the night so I have no NVG's, yet I maintained awareness of where people were and tried to move out of the way when shit popped off.

Good stuff. I was at Balkar last year and NATO got washed, but NATO started making a comeback with this event, loved the near non-stop action all weekend. Kudos to RUSFOR and everyone else involved.

how come you don't use a GBBR? I'm surprised you don't. Been using mine for a couple of months and can't see myself going back to AEGs unless it's too cold.

Gbbr is just not that great for MSW. You are rolling with less ammo loaded, so more ammo to be stolen, and you need to bring gas to your ruck, so more weight.

MSW is more reliant on reliable guns and GBBRs just can’t keep up unfortunately in that area. Yes they are cool for immersion but at that point you might as well utilize blank fire.

Seems counterintuitive to use a flashlight on your NV because you're blinding yourself and giving away your position. Thermal ir would be amazing. Garand thumb said he wiped out millimeters with no casualties in his first airsoft milsim using thermals and rhat it was like cheating and shooting fish in a barrel doing constant bight ambushes with thermals.
