I guess some of those L3 kills can be explained: When Sgt. York was added, if it's not been fixed, you could kill MBTs with its proxy HE rounds because it fires so fast those explosions "stacked" in the one place causing overpressure effect. I can only guess but I think similar things happens with that L3 spam where several dozen (hundreds?) shots "stack up" to be one big explosion that is enough to cause damage.

This just shows how unconsistent gaijin's ballistics and armor protection are, The L3 should never hurt a KV-1... and i'm not even a russian player, that's just stupid... penetrating the floor armor like that and at that angle? That should never be even a possibility.

i would say that this is because kv-1 get’s multiple hits on the same place but there no mechanic such like this

I also think that the game just can't handle that many hits so quickly. It struggles in normal battles.

My guess as to why the M4 did so well is the rather spacious interior which would make any penetrating (or otherwise damaging via derp) hits less devastating. Also it's armor, while certainly not stellar, can be trolly when you least expect it add on the track armor and you have a rather tough cookie for such a small gun to deal with. It's also comparably less likely to be tracked given the small amount of the tank's profile that's actually made up by it's track. They're thin, low to the ground, and covered up.

Watching you fire your first two or three shots into the dirt EVERY TIME made me want to rip my eyes out. Especially on the German rocket wagon when you fired EVERY rocket into the ground 20 feet in front of you. Like that vehicle probably would have killed the entire middle cluster of R3s if you just knew how to aim up. I need a fucking drink. Incredible video 11/10. Have my sub.

The l3 is mor of a terror than the MAUS the M4A5 is not surprising, the kv1 was a huge shock that it didn't make it, the kv2 was to be expected, sad the su122 failed, the kv1s making it is not a surprise, Japan was not surprising. thanks for the vid muffn. oh I can't join your discord channel.

I can't wait to see the m6 and t1e1 do this. Armour for the most part is pretty good all round. 6 crew members, 2 cannons and 3 50 cal machine guns. Im placing my bets that they can do it.

No cos the side and rear armour isn’t the greatest. It will do well until it gets to the centre of it all. The side armour is even smaller than the medium tanks armour cos the time period it was made in

T-34 has 45 mm angled armour all around and the L3 max pen is 38 mm, I have no idea how they penned it but I'm guessing Gaijin incompetence.

T-34 and KV-1 (KV-2) are performing really bad compared to american Shermans eventhough on paper these have some really good thick armor. I think armor layouts of Soviet tanks are somehow broken, because KV-1-2 shouldn´t be even penetrated by L3 (anywhere).
