How has this held up? Did you pull a clear coat over the backsplash as they recommend? I'm planning to do a backsplash.

It has held up well. Preparation is the key. No, I did not clear coat the surface. Thanks for tuning in.

I seriously have to recommend using a wet saw to cut this stuff. If you don't have one go to harbor freight and get a wet saw with a blade that cuts stone. You can cut air stone long ways with ease. I had a strip that was 60 inches long but only a little over an inch wide. It was so easy using my wet saw. Imagine trying it with a hacksaw like it says to. Also the water catches all the dust. I cut in my garage and only had to clean the saw and table it was on.

Do you have to put anything between the stone like calk or grout? Or just butt them up against each other?

Nope. No caulk or grout needed. Just set them in the adhesive.

No, I would not recommend drilling into the material.

In the kitchen need to seal it with a high gloss concrete sealer so u can clean it

Yep, as long as the old tile is clean and isn't loose or crumbling.

God i have the real deal 5 inch thick airstone looking rocks must cost big money ghe ladie had it i know that she put 1 mill just into the home on top of the 2 mill it was
