Very interesting. I always wondered about the air currents behind these bricks. I hope these help. When we had a leak on the fuel return line my first giveaway when I stopped was the back of the bus was covered in diesel.

It’s hard to make a brick aerodynamic, but there are definitely things you can do to help a bit here and there. That’s also a good point about the back being covered in fluid when you have a leak. After your other comment about the return fuel line I’ve added that to my list to check out and do a video on. Thanks for the tip.

Thanks for your review of this upgrade. I’m wondering if you noticed any mpg change, as I understand this is an advertised improvement. I don’t know if it would make any difference in my MCI, as I typically average 60 to 65 mph.

I didn't notice any MPG improvement from the AirTabs. As I read their claims, they say that the extra stability afforded by AirTabs are what result in the improved MPG, rather than just the aero improvement of less buffetting or other aero effects. However, any improvement you did see would be on the order of maybe 0.1 MPG or less, so it would be hard to measure. Generally, I don't think there's a noticable MPG improvement or else you'd see more semi fleets with them. The FlowBelow wheel covers (look for an upcoming video on those) I do think make a MPG improvement, though again you'd be looking at a small amount.
