hey Trashy i got a big problem with my am013 :// I use a 11.1v lipo battery with 800map. and my grip is always getting damn hot quite quickly. and the worst of all of it is, that after the overheated grip the am013 sounds like a mustang waiting for the GO on a race and it stops shooting :// whats wrong with it?:(( i payed 300€ and just hat 50 shots with it... realy need help with it!:(

You would think by now Ares would have extended the battery compartment and added a barrel stabilizer to their guns it's not as if it would require much re-engineering to correct the problems. Good thing for companies like Airtech Studios who can step up and make a few quid from Ares mistakes.

You do notice that there's no recoil on the gun so grouping doesn't matter it's just if you can hold the gun steady enough lol

I usually like your videos, but I have to say that the barrel stabilizer test is completely flawed. To do a fair test you'd need to have the gun fixed in a vice, preferably indoors, and shoot over a longer distance where variation in trajectory becomes more evident. Standing outside and firing with no support will never give you a true idea of accuracy differences. Plus, the groupings really weren't much different to be honest. This barrel spacer is a con, because if you check the silencer end cap you'll see that the end of the inner barrel slips inside it, in fact it's actually slightly conical to ensure a snug fit. I wrapped three turns of silicone tape around the end of the inner barrel and have absolutely zero barrel wobble ... saved myself nearly 18 euros in the process! I suggest you redo the test under proper test conditions as described above, then make a comparison with the teflon tape mod. I wager that you'll realise that spending 18 euros on this spacer is a waste of money. Hell, that's the cost of a lipo battery right there! P.S. why do you close your left eye when using a rds? The real advantage of a rds lies in being able to keep both eyes open thereby having far greater peripheral vision/depth of field perception. Perhaps you're used to using magnified optics?

***** 18 euros ... a cheap mod! I guess we've got different budgets. ;-) You'll only see the barrel wobble when you remove the end cap because it's the end cap that hold the barrel steady. Any slack can be taken care of with a couple of turns of ptfe tape right on the end of the inner barrel ... cost 0 euros! As for the test, don't you have a small bench or something to clamp the rifle to, or at least shoot from prone with a rest? And, speaking from experience, please don't take this as a criticism, but I really do advise you to learn to use a rds with both eyes open, closing one eye actually negates most of the point of using it. a presto, Gatto
