Airush Lift V3 Review - Why you want this kite for big air.

The Lift V3 is a far cry from the Lift V2. The first and second iterations of this kite were good for loft but left a lot on the table. The new V3 does something no other big air kite can claim. It has competition level loops, It makes learning loops easier for beginners, it has the loft and hang time you need to learn bigger tricks and to top everything off its actually good for foiling and unhooked freestyle. Not just okay but really good.
The Lift V3 is a real gem and something you should seriously consider for your next kite if big air, foiling and freestyle are all on your radar.

My pleasure crew. Stoked to have such a well thought out and designed tool for modern riders demands. It the magic bullet we’ve been missing for intermediate to advanced kiters. An actual “one kite performance quiver” opposed to an okay jack of all trades.🤯

Good review - Hard to find a kite to with that versatility that you dont give away too much at for either top end or middle. Have ridden it - it delivers the package !

Rygo! Been waiting for a review and you didn't disappoint... What I'd like to know is between the lift and the lithium in 10m size which would be your choice? Is there a big difference between them and if so what mainly? Both kites seem to be versatile and user friendly (in your words the Lithium was a good balance of automatic ease of use but combines some of that stickshift fun). Obviously Lift has more performance for big air... what else would be the deal breaker between these two kites?! Thanks mate!

I would do a Lift personally. The Lithium has great park and pull low end but the lift can be flown activity to create what it lacks when parked. So if you’re intermediate you can make up most of the low end power. The Lithium won’t have the top end range of the Lift. So if it’s super gusty or nuking, the 5 strut Lift will offer stability and depower you need in the wildest conditions. The one thing to consider is for gusty strong wind is that as long as you’re using the Lithium in its range and not over powered is it makes learning fundamentals in bad wind really comfortable. Like really comfortable… But at a certain point the 3 struts just can’t support being overpowered like a Lift. Hope that helps. 🤟🏻

Rygo, how about in the 14m size for freeriding and some hangtime tricks in 12-16 knots... Would lithium do the job or you still recommend the lift for the high end capability. (Intermediate rider 85kg)

@@justinrobinson701 This still comes down the the rider. You will feel noticeably more low end grunt from a lithium in that range. I think there’s an advantage for the rider looking for they little extra park and pull when things get light. The lift, you’ll have to work it to get a similar low end. But you’ll get a loop and freestyle advantage. If just ease of use and hangtime are all you’re after do a lithium. If you want to use loops and train that style, the lift v3 specifically will offer that advantage. For example you can go out super underpowered and pop with a loop for extra height, amplitude and power when there should be none. It will feel like a regular jump and you’ll have that benefit of hangtime to try tricks. This would lend to an eye catching style on the water and take your riding in a unique and powerful direction. 🤟🏻

Hi! If you would compare the lift v3 with a duotone rebel, which would be on top on your mind? I've got the lift v1 but it started to feel a little outdated for me and I tried a rebel 2024 and it felt way better, but again, v1, is an older model, not a fair comparison. I can get both of them at around the same price.

The V3 is basically a new kite compared to the V2 and V1. Actually, the old lift and old rebel had similarities as they only had good loft imo. That said, I have not flown a rebel in a few years. I see some friends use them and it looks like they make some big upgrades. I reviewed gear unbiased for 6 years on another channel and Airush was my personal choice brand. Actually since filming this, the lift V3 has become my choice kite for tutorials on this channel. That said, I can’t give a fair comparison on that one. Maybe I’ll link up with Duotone friends so we can do some kind of back to back. 🤟🏻

@@ryanrygogoloversic8826 thank you for the answer! If you ever get the chance to try them side by side, I am really interested in your opinion! For me, the rebel 2024 felt like a flying machine, it was like I had 2 seconds more in the air for the same kind of jump, but I can only compare to the v1, as I never had the chance to try a V2 or V3 Happy new year and only the best wishes!
